Base on the above causation, insulin resistance is one hot-sport of Diabetes studying in the past ten years.Insulin resistance is the sensitivity and (or) reactivity of body or target tissue, such as muscle, fat and liver to endo-insulin or ecto-insulin, so normal dose insulin can not produce normal effect, and pancreas should excrete more insulin. The cause of insulin resistance is unknown, we think it may be relate to some factors, such as heredity, immunity and environment. Studying indicate that food-control, weight reducing and exercise can improve insulin resistance. Many studying indicate that damp-heat syndrome will lie in differ phase of type 2 Diabetes. Damp-heat syndrome of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is dynamic, it can influence insulin sensitivity and the metabolize of blood glucose and fat. The method of reducing damp and heat is a new approach to improve insulin sensitivity. In fact, it is important to study the relationship of damp-heat syndrome and insulin resistance syndrome (Metabolism syndrome MS) , it can help us how to prevent cardiovascular disease. Aim: To study the relationship between Damp-heat syndrome and insulin resistance of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, and reducing damp and heat traditional Chinese medicine can improve insulin sensitivity. Method: According to Diabetes Diagnosis Criteria published by America Diabetes Association (ADA) on Diabetes Care 1997, 7 and Damp-heat Syndrome Diagnosis Criteria published on ((Traditional Chinese Medicine new drug clinical research instruction doctrine)) , we selected 96 cases and divided then into two group stochastically, experiment group and contrast group. We detected their BMI, FPG, 2hPG, FINS, 2hINS, HbAlc, TG, HDL-C, then we check the ISI, evaluate the relationship of damp-heat syndrome and type 2 Diabetes Mellitus insulin sensitivity. Result:1. All of the cases accord with the diagnosis of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and damp-heat syndrome.2. The cases of damp-heat syndrome which belong to heavy degree group have higher FPG, 2hPG, FINS, 2hINS and TG, their ISI are lower. All of these, include HDL-C , HbAlc are componential of Metabolism Syndrome.3. After treatment, the ISI of experiment group is superior to the contrast group' s.Conclusion:1. All of the cases accord with the diagnosis of type 2 Diabetes Mellitusand damp-heat syndrome.2. Damp-heat syndrome is relate to insulin sensitivity of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The integral of damp-heat syndrome are higher, their insulin sensitivity are lower, at the same time, their TG are higher too.3. Reducing damp and heat traditional Chinese medicine conjugate metformin can improve insulin sensitivity of type 2 Diabetes Mellitus evidently. |
