Objective To analyze the relationship between blood lipid with pre-diabetes and diabetes, aims to dyslipidemia crowd to intervene, effectively reduce the incidence of diabetes.Subjects and methods Total 21 villages of Zhoushi Town in Kunshan City were selected as the baseline surveys study field from May to December in 2015.9290 participants aged 20 years and older were recruited. They were administered interview using a standard questionnaire, and the related physical examination and blood samples collection were conducted by trained staffs.Physical Examination System Of Kunshan Rehabilitation Hospital was used to collect data. All p-value were based on a two-sided test and significance level of 0.05,and statistical analysis was conducted using SAS9.2 statistical software. Results The 9290 cases with valid data is collected,5280 male,4010 female, the average age was 58.46 ±11.33 years old.Among 9290 participants,8478 cases had normal blood glucose, the rate was 91.26%;386 cases were prediabetes, the incidence was 4.16%;426 cases were diabetes, the incidence was 4.59%;4371 cases were Dyslipidemia, the abnormal rate was 50.93%.1.There were significant difference among incidence of dyslipidemia, gender, age, culture level, smoke, drink, body mass index, systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in different characteristics of the population; There was significant difference between male and female in incidence of pre-diabetes and diabetes; In residents aged 20-44,45-54,55-64 and ?65-year-olds,the incidence of diabetes in the total population increased with age(P < 0.05)and the incidence of prediabetes and diabetes in different age were significant difference.2.Compared with normoglycaemia, participants with prediabetes and diabetes had higher level of baseline TC,TG and LDL-C,and lower level of HDL-C.3.In total population,multivariate-adjusted OR(95%CI)of prediabetes with the fourth level of HDL-C was 0.37(0.28-0.50),compared with the reference group(P < 0.05),the risk of prediabetes decreased with the increasing of HDL-C level(trend P < 0.05).Multivariate-adjusted OR(95%CI)of prediabetes with the second to the fourth level of LDL-C was 1.75(1.32-2.33),2.01(1.49-2.70)and 1.49(1.36-2.41),Compared with the reference group(P < 0.05),the risk of prediabetes increased with the increasing of LDL-C(trend P < 0.05).4.In total population,multivariate-adjusted OR(95%CI)of diabetes with the fourth level of TG was 1.01(1.00-1.02),compared with the reference group(P < 0.05),the risk of diabetes increased with the increasing of TG(trend P < 0.05).Multivariate-adjusted OR(95%CI)of diabetes with the third and fourth level of HDL-C were 0.53(0.38-0.75),0.29(0.17-0.38),compared with the reference group(P < 0.05),the risk of prediabetes decreased with the increasing of HDL-C level(trend P < 0.05).Multivariate-adjusted OR(95%CI)of diabetes with the third and fourth level of diabetes were 2.08(1.04-4.14)and 2.71(1.33-5.50),compared with the reference group(P < 0.05),the risk of prediabetes increased with the increasing of LDL-C(trend P < 0.05).The different levels of TC and diabetes no statistical significance(P > 0.05).Conclusion There were higher incidence of prediabetes, diabetes and dyslipidemia among Residents of Zhoushi Town in Kunshan City; The increasing of TG associated with the risk of diabetes, and the risk of diabetes increased with the increasing of TG;The HDL-C is a protective factor for pre-diabetes and diabetes, with the increasing of HDL-C,the risk of pre-diabetes and diabetes reduced;Dyslipidemia associated with prediabetes and the risk of diabetes,to reduce the occurence of diabetes effectively,we should further enhance the measures for the prevention and control of dyslipidemia and diabetes.
