Objective: Sixth census population show the split of sex ratio expanded year by year in China,especially in elderly and young people,more particularly evident in the nursing.In order to explore how gender role and related factors impact on nursing service satisfaction,therefore,the gender roles scales were used to analysis of each patient's level of gender role and attitude toward women and the correlational relationship with nursing satisfaction,meanwhile to explore the difference in the related factors between the gender roles and attitude toward women in patients,in the hope seeks to factors in the patients group to improve satisfaction.Methods: on the gender role theory and humanistic theory instruction and systemic,meanwhile on the basis of literature review,with cross-sectional survey method to investigate 172 patients in Geriatric Department,internal medicine Department,surgery Department,pediatrics Department,Emergency Department in a comprehensive level of first-class hospital in Wuhan,General data questionnaire,questionnaire including patients Bem sex role inventory(Bem sex role inventory,BSRI),to the woman's attitude Scale(Attitudes Toward Women Scale,AWS)(short vision),Newcastle Nursing service Satisfaction Scale(Newcastle Satisfaction with Nursing Scale,NSNS).Questionnaire methods are mainly composed of field distribution and collection of the survey forms,supplemented by WeChat et al.network means.Type-in Data using Excel 2010 and SPSS22.0 statistical package for statistical analysis it.Personal information is described with percentage or ratio,the median,mean+ standard deviation of the patient's gender roles and other variables was described.Results: 205 questionnaires were distributed actually.Only 172 was retrieved.Each department questionnaire retrieved rate and the number of results were 77.4%(n = 24),84.2%(n = 32),85.5%(n = 53),87.3%(n = 48),78.9%(n = 15),effective questionnaire retrieved rate 83.9%(n = 172);(1)the Bem sex role inventory(BSRI)results: dual-gender role 2.9%(n = 5),masculine 15.1%(n = 26),feminine 16.9%(n = 29),undifferentiated 65.1%(n = 112);(2)the woman's attitude Scale(Attitudes Toward Women Scale,AWS)(short vision)results: against feminism-9—-2 points(n-30,17.4%);Traditional conservative attitude – 1—4(n = 95,55.3%);Support the feminist 5 —13 points(n = 47,23.3%).(3)Newcastle nursing service satisfaction scale(NSNS)results: not satisfied and not very satisfaction rate from 36.1% to 44.8%(62<n<77),and between the general satisfaction is very satisfied with 55.2% to 55.2%(95< n<110);Conclusion: 1.The bisexual and female,tend to understand women,often have a sense of compassion for women,the results of nursing service satisfaction is higher than expected,in nursing daily work acts as a buffer role conflict;For male,high satisfaction on nursing service was the first two.2.In view of the undifferentiated sex roles,nursing staff should be avoided in the process of nursing and patients have too many rigid services,flexible and indirect management patients: 3.Conservative feminism and women's rights advocate,higher satisfaction to nurse services,more for the item number too.Anyhow,patient gender roles in nursing service satisfaction and the factors affecting attitude towards women,is the overall difference is bigger,so according to different gender role and attitude toward women,especially the gender roles and undifferentiated against feminist,should adopt different methods of intervention,so as to improve patient satisfaction,enhance respect for women,and meet the demand of patients,improve the quality of nursing service.
