Study On The Treatment Of Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease With Invigorating Lung And Nourishing Kidney Method

Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method for the treatment of COPD at stable stage.Through the statistical analysis of relevant indicators of symptoms?TCM syndromes?,lung function,exercise tolerance,quality of life and long-term efficacy,to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method for COPD objectively and comprehensively.And explore the mechanism of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method for COPD.Finally,to provides an objective basis for the treatment of COPD with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.Methods:This study is a randomized controlled clinical study.The source of the cases of the study was those who suffering from a stable period of COPD with two deficiency syndrome of lung and kidney.In accordance with the requirements of this study,a total of 60 cases were randomly divided into the control group and the treatment group by using random number table method,30 cases in each group.The control group received routine western medicine treatment and non-drug therapy according to the requirements of the COPD treatment guideline,and the treatment and observation time was 60 days.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine for invigorating lung and nourishing kidney on the basis of the treatment methods in the control group,the clinical trials used Renshengejie Powder combined with Yupingfeng Powder as the prescriptions of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method,treatment and observation time was 60 days,if acute attack occurs during this period,according to the situation,with reference to the other concurrent TCM syndromes to add ingredients.The changes of TCM syndrome points,FEV₁%pred,FEV₁/FVC%,6MWT,CAT scores and the number of acute attacks were observed and compared before and after treatment.Accordingly,the effect of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method on the symptoms?TCM syndromes?,lung function,exercise tolerance,quality of life and long-term effect of those who suffered from COPD were evaluated.Results:?1?After treatment,contrast with before,the control group and the treatment group cases are both improved in TCM syndrome points,6MWT,CAT scores and the number of acute attacks,the differences were statistically significant?P<0.05?,indicating that the two groups of patients had significant efficacy in terms of improving symptoms?TCM syndromes?,exercise tolerance and quality of life,as well as reducing the frequency of acute attack.After treatment,compared between control group and treatment group,the treatment group had better effect on TCM syndrome points,6MWT,CAT scores and the number of acute attacks,the differences were statistically significant?P<0.05?,the results showed that the therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group in improving symptoms,exercise tolerance and quality of life,as well as reducing the number of acute attacks.?2?After treatment,the mean values of FEV₁%pred and FEV₁/FVC%in the control group were slightly decreased compared with those before treatment,however,the mean FEV₁%pred and FEV₁/FVC%levels in the treatment group were higher than those before treatment,but contrast before and after treatment there was no statistical difference the two groups showed?P>0.05?,and there also showed no statistical difference between the two groups after treatment?P>0.05?.The treatment group might be superior to the control group in delaying the progress of COPD airway obstruction.Conclusion:In this study,the theoretical basis and mechanism of Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method for patients with COPD were discussed from the aspects of literature research,traditional Chinese medicine,modern medicine and pharmacy;the following conclusions are drawn from the clinical research data analysis:In the treatment of COPD,Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method can reduce TCM syndrome points and improve efficacy,can extend6MWT distance,can reduce CAT scores and significantly reduce the number of exacerbations,the therapy may also have a certain inhibitory effect on the deterioration of lung function indicators of COPD patients.Invigorating Lung and Nourishing Kidney Method can comprehensively improve the condition of patients with COPD in symptoms?TCM syndromes?,exercise tolerance,quality of life and long-term efficacy,it may also delay the progression of COPD airway obstruction and inhibit the decline of lung function.At the same time,the prescriptions for invigorating lung and nourishing kidney are safe in this study.Therefore,in the treatment of COPD,better clinical results would be achieved if we pay more attention to the coordination of Lung and kidney function and simultaneous treatment of the two viscera,these have important clinical reference value.
