Study,Reliability And Validity Test On Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise Of Modified Nursing Edition

Objective To construct an evaluation scale of modified nursing Mini Clinical Evaluation Exercise for clinical nurses' comprehensive ability in China,and to provide an objective and effective tool for clinical nursing.Method(I)Through literature review and research team discussion,combining the Dieect Obseration of Procedural Skills to design and establish the experts group of modified nursing mini-CEX;using Delphi method to evaluate the contents of the entries and content,Finally,seven first-level entries and 40 reference items were developed.The enthusiasm coefficient of experts,the authority coefficient of experts,the coefficients of variation and harmonization coefficient W were used to examine the reliability and representation of expert consultation.(2)Through the convenience-sampling method selected 261 clinical nurses and 20 teachers to train from third-grade class-A hospital of Ningbo and Hangzhou City.By using modified nursing mini-CEX,the teachers evaluate the actual working ability of the clinical nurses according the cinical actual situation.The reliability and validity of the scale were tested by the related data.The reliability and the the half reliability were used as reliability test index,correlation analysis andconstruct validity were used as validity test index.Results(1)After two rounds of expert consulation,the Enthusiasm Coefficient of experts were 97.44%and 100%(>70%),the Authority Coefficient of experts were 0.81 and 0.82(>0.7),Kendall's coefficient of concordance W were 0.112 and 0.116(P<0.001),the coefficient of variation of each index by 0.05-0.27,were less than 0.3.(2)The modified nursing mini-CEX scale was composed of 7 first class items and 40 reference items.Empirical research show that Cronbach'? was 0.874,the half reliability is 0.749-0.813;the factor analysis in the evaluation of the cumulative contribution rate of 64.45%.Conclusions The constructed of modified nursing mini-CEX has good reliability and validity.The scale is applicable to evaluate clinical nursing skills,service attitude and work behavior and other comprehensive ability in real working environment and different clinical conditions,and it can provide an evaluation tool for objective evaluation of clinical nurses'comprehensive ability.
