| Objective:In this study,we detected the level of serum vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)and interleukin-35(IL-35)in patients with conrectal cancer, analyzed the association with clinicopathological factors, and evaluated the significance in the diagnosis, treatment of patients with colorectal cancer. Methods:Sixty patients with colorectal cancer between January 2016 and June 2016 were selected as observation group, and sixty medically examined healthy adults at the same time were selected as control group,in the Central Hospital of Shaoyang.Enzyme-linked immunosorbent asssy(ELISA)was used to detect serum VEGF and IL-35 levels, and their associations with clinical stage(TNM stage),clinicopathological features of tumor and treatment were analyzed. Results:The levels of serum VEGF and IL-35 in colorectal cancer patients were significantly higher than that of healthy adults(P < 0.05),and surgery after 30 days,IL-35 and VEGF levels in patients decreased and were significantly lower than those before treatment, but were similar with the level of the healthy control group.Their were significant differences in serum VEGF and IL-35 levels for colorectal cancer patients with different TNM stages, and different tissue differentiation degrees, lymph node or distant metastasis(all P < 0.05).Pearson correlation analysis showed that serum VEGF level was positively correlated with serum IL-35 level in colorectal cancer patients(r = 0.629,P < 0.05).Conclusion:1.The expression of VEGF and IL-35 in colorectal cancer patients may be involved in the development of colorectal cancer, which may be used to evaluate the clinical stage, the choice of treatment patients with colorectal cancer.2.There is a positive correlation between the expression of serum VEGF and IL-35 in patients with colorectal cancer, suggesting that the interaction between them could promote tumorigenesis and development. |
