Objective To investigate the correlation between serum biochemical parameters and the risk with parkinson's disease(PD)in elderly. Methods 277 patients with PD in ward of Jiangsu Province Hospital were selected from January 2009 to December 2013 as PD group,277 healthy persons were enrolled as control group, the age and gender between two groups were matched. The levels of total cholesterol(TG),total bilirubin(TB)?uric acid(UA)?low-density lipoprotein chollesterol(LDL-C)and high-density lipoprotein chollesterol(HDL-C)in two groups were detected and compared.Result The levels of TG?TB?UA?LDL-C?HDL-C(4.35± 1.13)mmol/L?(278.00± 101.89)umol/L?(13.02±7.56)umol/L?(1.26±0.37)mmol/L?(2.59±0.79)mmol/L were significantly lower in PD group than in control group(4.95±0.98)mmol/L?(380.90±108.28)umol/L?(17.39±7.30)umol/L?(1.34±0.28)mmol/L?(3.17±0.91)mmol/L(t=6.63?12.44?7.09?3.38?7.42,each P<0.05),respectively.Logistic regressive analysis showed that the levels decreased of TB?UA?LDL-C(OR=0.940?0.991?0.219,each P<0.001)were associated in dependently with PD risk. The combined score of TB,UA and LDL-C was constructed by using the linear weighted method.ROC curve was drawn to select the higher diagnostic validity index among TB,UA,LDL-C and combined score. The area under curve(AUC)was 0.713?0.765?0.682 and 0.809(each P<0.001),and the value of combined score was the highest. Conclusion The decreased levels of TB?UA and LDL-C are associated in dependently with PD.They possess certain clinical value in evaluating the risk of PD.
