Purpose:To evaluate the early subjective and objective visual quality of ICL implantation and Femto-LASIK before and after operation for high myopia.Methods: This subject applies the prospective study which choose total 57 patients(103 eyes)with high myopia whose diopter are within-6.00 ~-12.00 D to accept ICL implantation and Femto-LASIK surgery.There are 27 patients(48 eyes)who accept ICL implantation for group A,and there are 30 patients(55 eyes)who accept Femto-LASIK for group B.To record the UCVA,BSCVA,MRSE,DC,RMSH,C7,C8,C12 and OQAS objective visual quality parameters which mainly includes MTF-cut off,SR and OSI at preoperative and postoperative 1 week,1 month and 3 month for all 57 patients.The obtained data were statistically analyzed in every group of A,B and between the two groups of A,B.Results: 1.The UCVA and BSCVA of group A,B are significantly improved in postoperative 3 months than pre-operation,MRSE and DC are significantly reduced,and the BSCVA,refractive stability,safety and effectiveness of group A are better than group B in postoperative 3 months,but DC of group B is lower than group A;2.The RMSH?C7?C8?C12 of group A have no significant difference in postoperative 3 months than pre-operation,while the C12 ? RMSH of group B are significantly increased and they are higher than group A;3.MTF-cut off of group A has no significant difference at postoperative 1 week than pre-operation while group B is obviously decreased;At postoperative 1 month,MTF-cut off of group A is obviously raised than pre-operation,MTF-cut off of group B recovered to preoperative level;At postoperative 3 months,MTF-cut off of group A and B are both obviously improved than pre-operation.MTF-cut off of group A are significantly higher than that of group B in postoperative 3 months;4.SR of group A has no significant difference at postoperative 1 week,but at postoperative 1 month and 3 month,SR of group A are obviously improved than pre-operation;SR of group B has no significant difference in postoperative 3 months than pre-operation,and SR of group A are significantly higher than that of group B at postoperative 1 month and 3 month;5.OSI of group A,B are obviously increased at postoperative 1 week than pre-operation;OSI of group A is same as the preoperative level,while OSI of group B is obviously increased at postoperative 1 month than pre-operation;OSI of group A,B are same as the preoperative level at postoperative 3 months.OSI of group A is higher than group B at postoperative 1week but it is lower than group B at postoperative 1 month.And there is no significant difference between group A and group B at postoperative 3 months.Conclusions: 1.Both of ICL implantation and Femto-LASIK are safe and effective for high myopia,but the efficacy and stability of ICL implantation are better than Femto-LASIK.2.The visual quality of ICL implantation and Femto-LASIK both are obviously improved after operation.However,the ICL implantation introduces less corneal high-order aberration after operation than Femto-LASIK,so the postoperative visual quality of ICL implantation is better,ICL implantation is preferred for the treatment of high myopia.
