Part 1 Early Visual Quality after Femto-LASIK for MyopiaPurpose:To evaluate visual quality of femto-LASIK for myopia. Methods: This study enrolled 118 patients who were divided into four groups according to diopter, and UCVA,BCVA,SE,WA and OQAS parameters were examined before and 1d, lw, 1m,3m and 6m postoperatively and the data were analyzed. Results:1.It was safe and effective in visual acuity and SE correction in the four groups. 2. The OSI values increased in the four groups. The higher the myopia the bigger the OSI value is.3. MTFcutoff, OV100%,OV20%,SR in low and moderate myopia and OV9% in low myopia 6m later increased than preoprative. OV9% in moderate myopia were the same as before. MTFcutoff increased and SR, OV100%, OV20%,OV9% were same as before in high myopia, except MTFcutoff all OQAS parameters were worse than before in ultra-high myopia.4. OSI, MTF cutoff, SR, OV100%,OV20%,OV9% allrelated with SE and ablating depth. 5. The HOAs, SA, and coma increased in four groups after surgery. While HOAs and SA in high and ultra-high myopia were higher compared with low and moderate myopia. 6. HOAs and SA were related with OSI,MTF,SR and visual acuity 6m postoperative. The coma was related with SE and astigmatism. Conclusions:1.It is safe and effective for Femto-LASIK myopia correction.2. Visual quality parameters of low and moderate myopia is better than that of high and very high myopia 6m after LASIK surgery.3. Some OQAS value correlates with WA data in evaluating the visual quality after Femto-LASIK.Part 2 Visual Quality of High and Ultra-high Myopia before and after ICL Implantation and Femto-LASIK.Purpose: To evaluate the visual quality of ICL implantation and Femto-LASIK before and after operation for high myopia and ultra-high myopia. Methods:We Selected the ICL/TICL implantation patients with a total of 34 patients(34 eyes), and Femto-LASIK 34 patients(34 eyes). All patients were checked UCVA, BCVA,SE, WAs and OQAS parameters before and l w, 1 m,3 m and 6m postoperatively and analyzed the data. Results:1.Postoperative UCVA and BCVA were improved. BCVA in the ICL groups is better than the Femto- LASIK groups 6 months after surgery and SE were all significantly improved after operation. 2.MTFcutoff, SR,OV100%,OV 20%,OV 9% in ICL group increased 6m after surgery compared with the base line, While MTFcutoff、OSI in Femto-LASIK group increased and SR,OV100%,OV 20%,OV 9% keep at the base line and all the parameters decreased except MTFcutoff in ultra-high myopia. 3. For high myopia the SR,OV100%, OV 20%,OV 9% in ICL group were higher and OSI were lower 6m after surgery compared with LASIK group. For ultra-high myopia all the parameters in ICL group were better than before.4. In ICL groups OV100% of high myopia increased and OSI decreased 6m after surgery compared with ultra-high myopia. And the difference of MTFcutoff SR,OV20%,OV9% were not significant. In the LASIK groups all the parameters were better in high myopia group.5. In the ICL goups 6m after surgery HOAs,spherical aberrations, coma and trefoil aberrations were the same as before. While in the Femto-LASIK groups increased significantly and the change of trefoil aberrations were not significant.6.HOAs and spherical aberrations in ICLimplantation groups were lower than those of the LASIK groups 6m after surgery, 7. In the LASIK goups, HOAs, spherical aberrations and coma in high myopia is lower than ultrahigh myopia 6m after operation. Conclusions:1. The two kind of methods are both effective for high and ultra-high myopia correction.2. objective visual quality inspection 6m after ICL surgery are better than femto-LASIK. 3. visual quality were better in high myopia group than ultra-high myopia group 6m postoperatively.Part 3 Visual Quality of Posterior Chamber Phakic Implantable Collamer Lens with and without a Central Hole for High MyopiaPurpose: To assess the optical quality after implantation of the ICL with and without a central hole for high myopia. Methods: 11 V4 ICL patients(21 eyes) and 12 V 4c ICL implantation(20 eyes) were enrolled, All the patients were checked UCVA, BCVA,SE and OQAS parameters and the data were analyzed.Results:1.Postoperative UCVA and BCVA were significantly improved after the hole ICL and conventional ICL implantation. 2. SE and astigmatism diopter of the two groups were both improved compared with that before. But no statistically significant difference were found between the two groups. 3.The MTFcutoff, SR, OV100%, OV20%, and OV9% 6m after hole ICL implantation and conventional ICL implantation were better than preoperative and no significant differences between the two groups.Conclusions:1. The hole ICL and conventional ICL implantation are both effective and safe for high to ultra-high myopia.2. OQAS objective visual quality inspection results 6m after operation are better than preoperative and have no statistically significance between the two groups.
