To Investigate The Therpeutic Effects Of Immunomodulatotor In The Treatment Of Vitiligo And Its Influence On Penpheral Blood Lymphocyte Subsets

Objective:The purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effects and safety of combination therapy with Ubenimex Capsules and Vitiligo Pills in the treatment of vitiligo,and further investigate its influence on peripheral blood lymphocyte subsets.Methods:60 patients with vitiligo were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 30)and control group(n = 30).Vitiligo Pills(6 pills per dose,2 times every day)was administered orally to all patients.In addition,for patients in the experiment-tal group,Ubenimex Capsules was given orally,at 30mg per dose,one time every day.The therapeutic course for both groups was 6 months.The area of the involved skin lesions was measured respectivley and the clinical efficacy was then analyzed stastically.Observe the adverse reactions of the two groups during the treatment.Further more,flow cytometry was applied to detect the level of CD3+?CD4+?CD8+?CD 19+?CD(16+56)+and CD4+/CD8+ in the peripheral blood lymphocytes in both groups before and after the treatment.Results:1.Curative effect:The lesion areas of the two groups after treatment were both lower than those before treatment,and the experimental group decreased more significantly;the effect of experimental group was markedly higher than the control group.The effect of the progressive stage was better than that of stable phase in experimental group.All of the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).2.Laboratory index comparison:CD3+,CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ in peripheral blood all increased markedly after the treatment in experimental group,the differences were statistically significant(p<0.05).CD4+,CD4+/CD8+ increased slightly after the treatment in control group,but there was no significant difference(p>0.05).Conclusion:1.The combination of Ubenimex Capsules with Vitiligo Pills is proved to be effective and safety in the treatment of vitiligo,especially when the disease is in progressive stage.2.The mechanism of Ubenimex in treating Vitiligo may be due to its stimulative effects on the proliferation and differentiation of T cells by increasing the number of CD4+ and reducing the number of CD8+ cells,and therefore enchancing the ratio of CD4+/CD8+.
