| Objective:The purpose of this study is analyzing clinical data of primary ovarian cancer patients that were treated in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from 2010 to 2011.The patients’ five-year survival rate were analyzed.Thereafter, the clinical features and prognosis of patients with ovarian cancer were summarized. Thus providing strong theoretical basis for diagnosis and treatment for ovarian cancer, and improving the survival rate and quality of life in patients with ovarian cancer.Subjects and Methods : A retrospective analysis on 85 primary ovarian cancer patients was selected from the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University from 2010 to 2011,patients aged 19-72 years old.The patients were followed up through letters, telephone, outpatient and a special door-to-door follow-up.Data were analyzed by SPSS17.0 statistical software.Univariate analysis was performed by Kaplan-Meier method, and the difference of survival rate was analyzed by Log-rank(P < 0.05).The main factors of this study are: the primary ovarian cancer patients with general signs and symptoms, pathological features, diagnosis and treatment related factors, auxiliary examination results,etc.Results:1,age of 85 patients ranged from 19 to 72 years old,the average age of was 48.22 +11.65 years old;as for FIGO,40 patients(47.1%)were at late stage(III-IV),45 cases(52.9%)were at early(stage I and II);regarding the degree of pathological differentiation,50 cases(58.8%)were poorly differentiated(G2-G3),35 cases(41.2%)were high differentiation(G1);2,as of December 31,2016,there were 58 cases(68.2%)of primary ovarian cancer patients were alive,27 patients died of complications of ovarian cancer. The five year survival rate of the patients in this study was 68%,the longest survival time was 60 months, the shortest time was 3 months, and the average survival time was(22.89 + 12.11)months;3,Kaplan-Meier univariate analysis showed that patients’ age, preoperative serum CA125 value, surgical approach, stage, pathological differentiation, ascites, lymph nodedissection, ascites cytology of atypical cells without sediment, postoperative residual tumor size, location and other parameters may be factors related to the prognosis of ovarian cancer(P < 0.05),however,there was no significant relationship between family history, basic history, chemotherapy treatment, prognosis of cancer or tumor size and prognosis of ovarian cancer(P > 0.05).Conclusion:Patients’ age, preoperative serum CA125 value, surgical approach, stage, pathological differentiation, ascites, lymph node dissection, ascites cytology of atypical cells without sediment, postoperative residual tumor size, location and other parameters may be factors related to the prognosis of ovarian cancer, histological differentiation and surgical staging were independent prognostic factors for patients with ovarian cancer. Therefore, early detection as well as timely diagnosis and treatment can improve the survival rate and prognosis of patients with primary ovarian cancer. |
