Objective:To explore the effects of tertiary rehabilitation clinical pathway for patients with ischemic stroke in South Jiangsu. Methods:Fifty ischemic stroke patients were randomly divided into two groups:research group(tertiary rehabilitation clinical pathway group)and control group(tertiary rehabilitation group). All patients were given standardized tertiary rehabilitation, clinical pathway was administered in the research group. All patients were assessed with Fugl-Meyer movement assessing function scale(FMA)and modified Barthel index(MBI)at the beginning, and at the end of 3 weeks,9 weeks,17 weeks. Results:No significant difference was found between two groups at the beginning(P>0.05).At the end of 3 weeks,9 weeks and 17 weeks,FMA and MBI scores were gradually increased in two groups.FMA and MBI scores were significantly increased in research group as compared with control groups at the end of 3 weeks,9 weeks(P<0.05),while no significant difference was found between two groups at the end of 17 weeks(P<0.05).The total cost in the research group were significantly higher than those of the control group, but cost effectiveness was better, while the incidence of complications in the research group were significantly lower than those of thecontrol group at the end of 9 weeks(P<0.05).Conclusion:After the implementation of clinical pathway, rehabilitation can significantly improve the motor functions and daily activities of patients with stroke in early stage, reducing the incidence of complications and the patient's economic burden. It is worth promoting.
