Clinical Research Of Holographic Acupuncture Combined With Electroacupuncture In The Treatment Of Primary Trigeminal Neuralgia

Purpose:To compare the efficacy of holographic acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in the treatment of primary trigeminal neuralgia.And to find which method is more effective.Method: We randomly divide 62 patients into two groups: the treatment group and the control group.Each group includes 31 cases,the treatment group for the holographic acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture treatment,the control group for the general acupuncture treatment.Patients of both groups are treated 30 minutes once a day.The whole experiment contains 1 courses which take 20 days.The pain symptoms score table,TCM syndrome score table and VAS(visual analogue score)are recorded before and after treatment to determine the short-term efficacy of two groups.We also record these data a month after finishing the experiment to determine the long-term efficacy.Result: 1 The short-term efficacy:The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group are 87.09% and 70.96% respectively.There is significant difference between these two groups.2 The long-term efficacy:The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group are 77.41% and 58.06% respectively.There is significant difference between these two groups.There are significant differences in pain symptom score table,TCM syndrome score table and VAS scores between the two groups after 1 month of treatment by statistically analyzing.Conclusion: 1 It is improved that holographic acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture can reduce the pain of time,frequency and degree of patients with primary trigeminal neuralgia as well as acupuncture alone.2 The treatment of holographic acupuncture combined with electroacupuncture in primary trigeminal neuralgia is more effective than acupuncture alone.
