The Research Using Data Mining Technology On Spectral Rules Of Points Selection And Compatibility About Toothache Based On Periodical Literature

Purpose: Using data mining technology to analyze the acupoints selection and compatibility rules of acupuncture treatment for toothache is helpful to improve the clinical curative effect,provide ideas for the clinical acupoint selection and compatibility,and lay the foundation for optimizing the prescription.Methods: The acupuncture treatment literature of toothache diseases at home and abroad was searched comprehensively.The establishment of prescription database was carried out.TCMISS V2.5 was used to analyze the frequency of acupoints,the number of acupoints,the attribution of meridians,the location distribution,and the classification of specific acupoints,whose results were shown on graphs.Results: The final 292 acupuncture prescriptions were adopt in this study,which involved with 112 acupoints.The acupoints frequency was 1461 times.The average of each prescription included 3 acupoints.The prior five acupoints were the Hegu(LI 4),Jiache(ST 6),Xiaguan(ST 7),Neiting(ST 44),Taixi(KI 3).The frequency and number of acupoints were significantly higher than those of non acupoints.The application field of acupoints spread over the fourteen meridians.It mainly covered to meridians of Foot-Yangming and Hand-Yangming.The main parts of acupoints were the areas of the head and neck and limps.The frequency and the number of using specific acupoints are frequent.The application frequency of Yuan-Source acupoints,five-shu acupoints and crossing points were the top three.The prescription type was mainly based on multi-acupoint prescriptions.The wind-fire toothache was often treated by Yifeng(SJ 17),Fengchi(GB 20),Waiguan(TE 5).The stomach fire toothache often choice Neiting(ST 44),Zusanli(ST 36),Quchi(LI 11).The kidney deficiency toothache was often treated by Taixi(KI 3),Xingjian(LR 2),Zhaohai(KI 6).Based on the association rules,"Jiache(ST 6),Xiaguan(ST 7)-> Hegu(LI 4)" is the highest correlation between the acupoints.The compatibility of acupoints mainly include “LI 4,ST 6”,“LI 4,ST 7”,“ST 6,ST 7”,“LI 4,ST 6,ST 7”,“LI 4,ST 44”,“ST 6,ST 44 ”,etc.Western medicine often involved pericementitis,pericoronitis,saprodontia,etc.Conclusion: The compatibility of “LI4,ST6,ST7” is stable and reliable.It can be used as the basic prescription for acupuncture treatment of toothache.The method of distribution points was mainly for the combination of adjacent and remote acupoints.The selection of acupoints mainly includes proximal acupoint selection and distal acupoint selection.Pay attention to point selection based on syndrome differentiation and symptom.Toothache is the indication of acupuncture treatment.The traditional Chinese medicine syndrom were mostly excess fire toothache.Western medicine was mostly dentinous toothache.The cause of toothache is complex.The acupuncture led to the analgesic effect and patient should be treated against the primary disease actively.
