Purpose: The study aim to evaluate pain nursing satisfaction after hip fracture surgery in elder patients by questionnaire,and analyze the influence factors such as pain intensity,pain beliefs,and so on.The correlation analysis was made between the influence factors and nursing satisfaction.According to the main factors,relevant methods and ways were discussed for improving post-operation pain nursing satisfaction.It also provides theoretical foundation for making effective management standard and improving the quality of post-operation pain nursing.Method: This is a single center cross-section study and questionnaire survey was used to facilitate taking of samples.330 cases of hip surgery were selected from a 3A-grade hospital in Wenzhou.The questionnaire survey included the General Information Inventory,the Pain Beliefs and Perceptions Inventory(PBPI)and Satisfaction Scale of Pain Nursing.Excel 2013 software was used for data entry.SPSS 17.0 statistical software was used for data analysis such as descriptive statistic(mean,standard deviation,median,quartile,percentage and so on),T-test,Kuskal-Wallis test,K-S normal distribution test,one-way ANOVA,Spearman correlation analysis,Logistic regression analysis and so on.Result:(1)330 questionnaires were handed out in our study and 302 questionnaires were valid.The response rate is 92.12%.According to the results of investigation,all patients who experienced the worst pain intensity in past 24 hours achieved moderate or severe.75.7%patients who experienced the average pain intensity in past 24 hours reached moderate or severe.Only 19.7% patients achieved mild pain intensity at present.(2)The total point of PBPI in 302 hip fracture surgery patients is-21 to 26.The overall trend of patient's pain beliefs was negative.The point of PBPI of patients with different age,level of education,religious faith,pain experiences were significant difference(P<0.05).(3)The overall average score of the patients' nursing satisfaction scale was(3.76+ 0.68),which was between the general and the satisfactory,and did not meet the satisfaction,the results show that the postoperative pain care needs to be further improved.It's indicating that post-operation pain nursing still need to be further improved.The highest score in three dimension of nursing satisfaction is professional technical capability,the second is the trust relationship,the mostunsatisfied dimension is education relations.The degree of satisfaction of patients with different age,education level,religious faith,surgery or pain experiences were significant difference(P<0.05).(4)The patients' age,education level,religious faith,pain intensity and pain faith could predict the post-operation pain nursing satisfaction in hip fracture patients.The patients' age,education level,pain faith were positively correlated to nursing satisfaction,religious faith and pain inensity were negatively correlated to nursing satisfaction.Conclusion: The post-operation pain of hip fracture patients had not been effectively controlled.In order to improve the effectiveness,relevant system and standard need to be enacted.The overall trend of patient's pain beliefs was negative.So that the nursing stuff should enhance the health knowledge education to boost patients' beliefs.The ensemble average of satisfaction scale of pain nursing was between common and satisfaction.It indicate that the nurses should sufficiently understand the importance of post-operation pain nursing,carefully realize the factors which may influence the satisfaction and continuously enhance the quality of nursing.
