Objectives To investigate the Posttraumatic Growth(PTG)in patients after Percutaneous Coronary Intervention(PCI),and to explore the association of social support and resilience with PTG,so as to provide empirical evidence for the development of effective psychological interventions.Method Convenience sampling was used. From March to October in 2017,a total of 182 patients after PCI was interviewed in two class A tertiary hospitals of Shandong Province using the general data questionnaire, the Posttraumatic Growth Inventory(PTGI),the Perceived Social Support Scale(PSSS)and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC),SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used for data entry, reduction and analysis, including descriptive analysis, independent samples t test,ANOVA analysis, correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis.Results1.Basic demographic data and clinical data of patients after PCIOf 182 cases with PCI,aged from 31 to 86 years old, with an average of 60.87±10.30 years old,76.4%were male;88.5%married;59.3%lived in the city;51.6%were or below junior high school level;50.5%were on the job;58.8%with a family income less than 3000 yuan every month;94.5%have Employees or Residents health insurance. The range of time since the first heart attack was 4.64 ± 5.52 years, and the average time was 1.27±3.54 years;40.1%were implanted due to angina pectoris;59.9%were implanted due to myocardial infarction;and 65.4%had a previous history, such as hypertension and diabetes mellitus.2.The scores gained with regard to the PTG of patients after PCI and the difference between its basic demographic data and clinical dataThe average score of PTG in patients after PCI was 69.01±15.96,the average of each dimension was respectively life inspiration 21.91±5.04,personal power 10.361±3.00,new possibility 13.16±3.67,interpersonal relations 10.75±2.83,and self change 12.82±3.94,which were significantly higher than in norm. There were significant differences of PTG in patients with different domicile, education, financial status, and cardiac disease classification.3.The correlation between social support, resilience and PTG in patients with PCIThe scores in all dimensions of social support and PTG were positively correlated(r = 0.281?0.445,P<0.001),scores in all dimensions of resilience and PTG were also positively related(r = 0.0.394?0.745,P<0.001).4.Multiple linear regression analysis of influencing factors on PTG of patients with PCIMultiple linear regression analysis of PTG showed that,age(?=-0.144,P=0.015),toughness(?=0.206,P=0.04)and strength(?=0.410,P=0.001)could significantly predict the life inspiration dimension;age(?=-0.198,P=0.001),friends support(?=0.246,P=0.002)and toughness(?=0.469,P<0.001)could significantly predict the new possibility dimension;age(?=-.129,0.032)and toughness(?=0.446,P<0.001)could significantly predict personal power dimension;family support(?=-0.239,P=0.001)and toughness(?=0.285,P=0.012)could significantly predict interpersonal relations dimension;toughness(?=0.3276,P=0.014)can significantly predict self change dimension.Age(?=-0.180,P=0.002),family support(?=0.121,P=0.048),toughness(?=0.343,P<0.001)and strength(?=0.256,P=0.01)could significantly predict the total score of PTGConclusion1.The PTG in PCI patients was significantly higher than in norm,of which the highest score was in the life inspiration dimension, while the lowest was in the personal power dimension.2.There was a significant positive correlation between social support, resilience and each dimension of PTG in patients after PCI.3.Factors such as age, family support, toughness and strength could significantly predict the PTG in PCI patients.
