Purpose: Patients with neurogenic bladder urinary retention after spinal cord injury were treated by Acupuncture and massage combined with modern rehabilitation technology. The residual urine volume, recovery of urination function and clinical effect before and after treatment were observed. It is to investigate the effect of acupuncture and massage for patients with neurogenic bladder urinary retention after spinal cord injury,in other to promote the widely used of acupuncture and massage in neurogenic bladder urinary retention of patients with spinal cord injury.Method: In this study,72 cases were included, among them,3 cases were excluded, and sixty-nine cases remained. In this study, the patients were randomly divided into treatment group(n = 34)and control group(n = 32).Patients of the experimental group were treated with Combined Modality Therapy,Routine training and treatment of neurogenic bladder and the comprehensive rehabilitation of Traditional Chinese medicine for spinal cord injury.Patients of the control group were treated with Combined Modality Therapy and routine training and treatment of neurogenic bladder for spinal cord injury. After treatment,SPSS23.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.Result:1.In the treatment group,it was effective in 17 cases, ineffective in 3 cases, and the total effective rate was 91.18%;In the control group it was effective in 11 cases, ineffective in 11 cases, and the total effective rate was 65.63%.The clinical efficacy of the two groups were compared, and the comprehensive rehabilitation group was better than the control group.2.Before treatment, there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05);In the treatment, two groups of patients with bladder residual urine volume were significantly reduced, and revealed significant difference(P< 0.05)compared with pretreatment.Compared with the control group,P<0.001 has a very significant difference between the treatment group and the control group.3.In the treatment group, patients with urinary function in addition to the original that were 2 cases, patients restoring the function of autonomous urination were 28 cases, and patients who do not restore the function of autonomous urination were 4 cases; In the control group,20 cases patient's function of autonomous urination was restored, and 12 cases did not restore the function of autonomic urination. The statistical analysis showed that the two groups of patients with urinary recovery was P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.4.Two groups of patients with bladder balance function of P>0.05,the difference was not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.By observing the clinical curative effect and residual urine volume,It is proved that the comprehensive rehabilitation therapy of Chinese medicine has good curative effect on neurogenic bladder urinary retention after spinal cord injury.2.It is proved that the comprehensive rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine has good effect on the improvement of neurogenic bladder function after spinal cord injury by comparing of recovery of spontaneous urination before and after treatment.3.There was no significant difference in the establishment of bladder balance function, and it is need to have further study and discussion.4.Through this study,it is proved that the effect of comprehensive rehabilitation therapy on neurogenic bladder urinary retention after spinal cord injury. It can be found that the effect of TCM Comprehensive rehabilitation group is better than that of comprehensive rehabilitation group. Therefore, the comprehensive rehabilitation of traditional Chinese medicine is worth to be popularized and applied.
