Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaque Generation's Effection On Cognition Based On Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution

Objective: To explore the effect of carotid atherosclerosis plaque on cognitive function in combination with TCM Constitution,which is helpful to the prevention and control of cognitive impairment in the elderly.It can provide a new way for the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis and prevention of cognitive impairment in the treatment of carotid atherosclerosis.Methods: The study will be on the prevention and treatment of chronic disease management platform included in the crowd,the use of Mo CA scale for cognitive function assessment,the total score and each sub score into the excel form.Using the body mass index to determine the constitution of the study population.According to the results of neck ultrasonography,stratified evaluation of research object: 1=normal or atherosclerotic carotid;2=neck ultrasound but has not yet formed plaque;3=carotid plaque formation of but not vascular stenosis;carotid artery stenosis or occlusion.The correlation analysis between Mo CA score and blood vessel evaluation stratified by TCM constitution.Results: The difference between the values of these variables to the total score of Mo CA was significantly lower than that of the level and quality of Yang deficiency of the crowd and the crowd,not Yang deficiency of yin deficiency group and yin deficiency group,not the crowd and the crowd is not flat and quality(p<=0.05).However,there was no significant difference in the Mo CA score between the normal and the abnormal crowd of the neck,and between the different layers of plaques.Take the significant level of 0.05,we can see that normal people Qi neck matter,Yang deficiency,phlegm among normal people,not in ultrasound and different conditions of population stratification Mo CA plaque score had significant difference(p<=0.05).There were significant differences in Mo CA scores between different groups of people with different levels of plaque in the patients with Yin deficiency and damp heat(p<=0.05)Conclusion: Compared with other constitutions,the relationship between the normal carotid artery color Doppler and the cognitive function of the patients with Yang deficiency,yin deficiency,and smooth quality is more close.Qi deficiency and phlegm dampness are easy to cause carotid atherosclerosis,and with the increase of the degree of carotid atherosclerosis and plaque,the impairment of cognitive function.
