The Clinical Study Of Carotid Atherosclerosis Plaques Treating Formulas Of Chinese Medicine In The Treatment On Carotid Atherosclerotic Plaques

Objective:To observe the syndrome scores,carotid intima-media thickness,maximum plaque area,blood lipid level,and blood homocysteine level in patients with atherosclerotic plaque of kidney deficiency and blood stasis by observing the Carotid Atherosclerosis Plaques Treating Formulas of Chinese Medicine.To evaluate the clinical efficacy of the formulas and explore the mechanism of action.Methods:Sixty patients with atherosclerotic atherosclerotic plaques who met the inclusion criteria and did not meet the exclusion criteria were randomly divided into the control group(n=30)and the experimental group(n=30).The control group was given basic medical treatment of western medicine,and the experimental group was given traditional Chinese medicine combined with western medicine.The total course of treatment was 12 weeks.Observation data before and after treatment were collected,and statistical methods were used for statistical analysis.Results:(1)In the total score of TCM syndrome,carotid intima-media thickness,blood lipid level,and homocysteine,the experimental group and the control group were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.05).The effect of the experimental group was more obvious after treatment(P<0.05).(2)The total effective rate of the medical treatment in the experimental group was 86.7%,and the total effective rate in the control group was 73.3%.The medical efficacy of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).The total effective rate of Western medicine in the experimental group was 53.3%,and the total effective rate of Western medicine in the control group was 26.7%.The western medical effect of the experimental group was better than that of the control group(P<0.05).(3)Safety:There were no obvious abnormalities in the safety indexes before and after treatment in both groups.Conclusion:Carotid Atherosclerosis Plaques Treating Formulas of Chinese Medicine can improve the clinical symptoms of patients with carotid atherosclerotic plaque,and treat carotid atherosclerosis by improving carotid intima-media thickness,blood lipid level and blood homocysteine level.The formulas have a good drug safety and the formulas deserve further study and promotion in clinical practice.
