Objective:This study aimed to observe the change of urinary podocyte microparticles level and to explore its potential clinical significance in idiopathic membranous nephropathy(IMN).Methods:Clinical data of 24 patients who were diagnosed as IMN(2 IMN stage 1 and 22 IMN stage 2)admitted to Zhongda Hospital affiliated to Southeast University from November 2015 to April 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. The changes of kidney tissue pathology were detected after PAS and PASM staining by light microscope. The number of urinary podocyte microparticles was detected by Flow cytometry. The correlation of urinary podocyte microparticles and clinical and pathological factors in IMN patients was analyzed.Results:.Compared with the control group, there were decreased serum albumin(P<0.05),increased serum total cholestrol(P<0.01)and increased urinary podocyte microparticle excretion in patients with IMN(P<0.01).Conclusions:The excretion of urinary podocyte microparticles might reflect podocyte injury and might be associated with the progression of IMN.
