The Quality Of Life Status Of Hospitalized Patients With Asthma In A 3A Hospital Of Changchun And Its Influencing Factors

In the past decades the morbidity and mortality of asthma in the world has increased year by year,and the negative impact on the national economy has increased accordingly.This has attracted worldwide attention.In recent years,China’s economic development,people’s living environment has changed significantly,air quality continues to deteriorate,the incidence of bronchial asthma is on the rise.In view of the quality of life of patients with asthma,we should not only pay attention to the treatment of physical health,but also should pay attention to improving the patient’s mental health and behavior.Physical and mental combination therapy is thus more effective in achieving optimal treatment outcomes.This study started with the level of patients’ hope and the medical coping style of their own diseases,and comprehensively analyzed the main factors that affect the quality of life of patients with asthma.Objective:In order to provide theoretical foundation of health education and Psychological support for caring asthma patients,hospitalized patients with asthma are investigated through their expecting levels,medical coping modes and quality of life.The Purpose of this Paper is to provide scientific basis for developing the corresponding health care intervention measures,improving medical and health services,even improving the quality of life of asthmatic patients,and promoting patients’ both physical and mental health development physical and mental health.Methods:a cluster sampling method was used to select the patients with asthma in the respiratory department of a first-class hospital in Changchun city.The questionnaire includes four Parts: general information questionnaire,Asthma quality of Life Questionnaire(AQLQ),Herth hope index(HHI)and Medical Coping Modes Questionnaire(MCMQ).A total of 169 questionnaires were distributed,and 163 questionnaires were collected with 97.6% efficiency.Use the statistical software SPSS18.0 to analyze the collected data,including the following statistical methods: the general data of patients are expressed by frequency and percentage;the expecting level,the way of medical treatment and the quality of life are showed by averages,standard deviation or median;Multiple stepwise regression method is adopted to analyze the factors that influence quality of life.Results:1.The average score of expecting level of hospitalized patients with asthma is 37.96±4.67 points,which is in the medium to higher level.furthermore,66.9% Patients’ scores are in high level,and 33.1% patients’ scores are in medium level.2.According to the results of the Medical Coping Modes,most patients choose to confront;few people choose to avoidance;and very few people choose to yield.3.The average score of total quality of life of hospitalized asthmatic patients is 3.41±0.46 points,which is moderate.4.The quality of life of inpatients with asthma in different individual characteristics,there are differences between the hope level and the medical coping style,but the main factors influencing the quality of life of hospitalized asthma patients are "avoidance" and "facing" medical coping styles,combined drug using,basic diseases,marital status and overall hope level.Conclusions:1.The overall quality of life of the patients with asthma in the hospital was below the middle level;the overall hope level was higher;most patients took the "face" medical coping style.2.The individual characteristics of the sex,age,occupation,education level and the medical coping style of the inpatients with asthma will affect the quality of life in different degrees.3.The main factors affecting the overall quality of life of patients with asthma are: combination of drug types,basic diseases,marital status,"face","avoidance" of medical coping style and overall hope level.
