A Study On The Intervention Of The Case Work In Eating Disorder Patients

Eating is the basic way that human beings can sustain their lives and carry out daily activities required energy intake.With the development of economic and people’s living standards improved,more and more kinds of food appear in people’s life.It is hard to imagine that some people would rather endure hunger,refuse to eat the instincts of eating or through eating after the spitting,catharsis discharge behavior refused to energy intake,this abnormal eating disorder behavior has been the attention from scholars both at home and abroad.since 1986,the prevalence of eating disorder patients in China showed an increasing trend,eating disorder seriously affect women’s physical and mental health,what’s more,it even affects living accommodation of women.On the basis of collecting and combing the literature of“eating disorder”,this study finds that the scholars both at home and abroad from medicine,psychology,sociology and other disciplines perspective analysis the explore the reason,symptoms,manifestations,hazards,personality tendencies,intervention measures related to rehabilitation of the eating disorder,while,in the case of social work involved in eating disorder is almost in a blank state.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part introduces the background,purpose and significance of this study,summarizes the current research results on eating disorder at home and abroad,and defines the concept used in this study,and explains the theoretical basis.the second part is an early-stage preparation for the gluttonizing and clear-off behavior of case subjects;The three part is the case intervention process of the case of eating disorder;the fourth part is the conclusion and professional reflection.In this study,the social work case is involved in the life dilemma and adaptability of the eating disorder.The comprehensive use of the advantages of perspective,cognitive behavior therapy for professional self-help activities.In this study,we participated in the observation method,the action research method and the deep interview method as the basic research methods,and discussed the reasons for the formation of the eating disorder by the case of the victim who was deeply affected by eating disorder.The case intervention,that is,establishing relation with the victim,estimating,the plan,the intervention,the assessment and the closed common pattern.The author establishes the professional relation with the client,uses the social work profession knowledge,the skill,the method,carries on the professional service to help client get rid of the life dilemma,restore social function,to achieve good social adaptation.Finally,through comparison between pre-test and post-test,the author proves that involvement and intervention do achieve the effect to help the case subject reduce the frequency of gluttony and induced-vomit behavior.Besides,the author conducts professional reflection on the intervention process for social work on particular case while paying special attention to the double-relation between the social worker and the case subject that are transference and counter-transference.This research is expected to help enrich studies in research field of eating disorder and promote the development of medical social work.
