| Objectives The paper mainly discusses curative effect of two kinds of internal fixation most commonly used in curing Letenneur Ⅱ Hoffa fracture,which refer to reconstruction steel plate at the distal end of the femur combined with cannulated lag screws,and dissection steel plate on condyles of femur.Condyles of femur are the important component of knee-joints.Although occurrence rate of Letenneur Ⅱ Hoffa is low,once it happened,it would have tremendous influence on patients’ life and work.The internal fixation methods above are commonly used when treating Letenneur Ⅱ Hoffa at present.However,it is always the focus of doctors’ attention that which one is better.The significance of this paper is to provide theoretical basis for treating Letenneur Ⅱ Hoffa based on analyses of two different internal fixation methods.Data and Methods The paper analyzes relevant data of 40 cases on Letenneur ⅡHoffa fracture treated by different methods,which are from Affiliated Hospital of Hebei University.(Cases are from 1st January,2015 to 31 st January,2016.)As for each method,there are 20 patients respectively.The paper makes a retrospective analysis and takes results of the follow-up visit into consideration.The follow-up visits towards patients range from 6months to 24 months(average 14.4 months).All patients have operation after being in hospital for 2 to 4 days.Factors such as operation time,healing time,knee-joint performance and time in hospital will be taken into account.Results 40 patients all get a follow-up visit,which ranges from 6 to 24 months(average14.4 months).The operations of two groups indicate that the healing time,knee-joint performance and time in hospital of observation group are superior to those of comparison group,while the operation time is longer than that of comparison group.(P<0.05).Function after operation assessment standard by Lysholm: Excellent: activity range of knee-joints is greater than 1200;stable and no pains;walking without aid;Good: activity range of knee-joint is 900~1200;stable and occasional pains after activity;walking without aid;Bad: activity range of knee-joint is less than 900;unstable and often having pains;walking with help.Conclusions The paper contrasts clinical data of this two different methods and finds that both have good curative effect.However,based on the overall assessment,the paperconcludes that curative effect of reconstruction steel plate at the distal end of the femur combined with cannulated lag screws is superior to that of dissection steel plate on condyles of femur. |
