Objective:The article aims to establish core competence evaluation index system for head nurse of 3 A hospital combined with analyze the literature,post analysis,Delphi expert consultation and questionnaire survey.To clear the required ability of head nurses,provide a viable basis when training and selection of head nurses,perfect match the workforce and position,further to promote the post management of hospital.Methods:In this study,the core competence evaluation index system of the 3A hospital nurses was constructed by various method such as literature analysis,Delphi method and analytic hierarchy process,with different weight of each index determined.Microsoft Excel,SPSS 23.0,"Yaahp V6.0" AHP software are main data processing for data collation and analysis.Results:(1)Under the developing of the evaluation system of the core competence of the head nurses in China,this study work through analyzing the social,medical and nursing development at present,drawing on the research achievements of the developed countries in the nursing manager's ability,combined with China's development background,after two rounds of expert consultation on the indicators to screen and modify.Then,build the nurses core competence evaluation index system of 3A hospital,which including five primary indicators:nursing management ability,clinical practice ability,nursing research ability,nursing education ability,professional development ability;18 secondary indicators and 67 tertiary indicators.(2)The positive coefficient of the two rounds of consultants was 0.58 and 0.94 respectively,with 29 experts proposing amendments,all the experts pay more attention and interested about this study.The coefficient of judgment of the expert's judgment coefficient is 0.88,0.83 and 0.86 respectively.The second round of the coefficient of variation between 0.00-0.17,compared to the first round,the volatility of second round of expert advice decreases,it means a relative concentration of views.The coordination coefficient of the second round of the whole index,the coordination coefficient of the first grade index and the coordination coefficient of the secondary index are 0.262,0.363,0.243 respectively,which are higher than the first round,and it is meaningful,shows that the expert opinion coordination is better.(3)Using the analytic hierarchy process to determine the weight distribution of indicators at all levels,all the weight of primary indicator were sorted high to low:Nursing management ability(0.433),clinical practice ability(0.172),nursing education ability(0.172),professional development ability(0.172),nursing research ability(0.051).(4)The reliability of the evaluation index system constructed in this study is favorable.The Cronbach's Alpha coefficient of all the indexes is 0.975,and the Cronbach's Alpha coefficients of each dimension are 0.901,0.904,0.901,0.911 and 0.926 respectively.It is Visible that indicators have fine content validity with concentrated views.Conclusion:The core competence of head nurse in 3 A hospital contains five core indexes including nursing management ability,clinical practice ability,nursing education ability,nursing research ability and professional development ability,18 secondary indicators and 67 tertiary indicators.Above all,nursing management ability is the most primary and important ability.The research method is scientific,comprehensive and reliable to reflect the research results,the positive coefficient of consultation experts,the higher degree of authority,the degree of expert opinion coordination is better,the indicators of good faith,those are sufficient to provide reference for nurses training and selection.As well as promoting scientific management,to perfect match and improve the overall level nursing quality and efficiency of the team.Suggestions:(1)Pay attention to the quality of all-aspects training.(2)Establishment nursing management talent echelon.(3)Strengthen the training of nursing managers.Originality in this study:Constructs the evaluation index system of the core competence of head nurses of 3 A hospital and the reliability of the evaluation index system constructed is favorable.Determining the weight distribution of indicators at all levels which make clear that nursing management ability is the most important core competence to head nurse.Providing reference for the cultivation and selection of the head nurses in the 3 A hospitals.Research deficiencies and prospects:The shortcomings is that the construction of the 3A hospital nurses' core competence evaluation index system is lack of testing measurement and application.Further implement is followed up.With the continuous development of post management,subdivision according to different levels,different positions,different responsibilities of nursing managers,will be further carried out with permits.The dissertation is supported by the key discipline construction funding in Shanxi Province and as part of the project "nursing position setting and talents core competency assessment".
