Objective:chondrosarcoma is a common malignant bone tumors, currently it is generally accepted that the sensitivity of chondrosarcoma to radiotherapy and chemotherapy is very poor so its main treatment is surgical resection. This study retrospectively analyzed the case history of chondrosarcoma patient who have accepted operation in our hospital from June 2004 to June 2014 to,explore the influencing factors of postoperative. Methods:Analysis the case history of the 34 cases chondrosarcoma patient who has caccept operative treatment from June 2004 to June 2014.Assume that the influence factors of postoperative recurrence are: age, sex, tumor size, position, length of the course of the disease, histologic of tumor, whether to accept radiotherapy or chemotherapy.Regular follow-up after the operation to clear-out whether patients whit recurrence.Single factor analysis the datas accepted from the case history with SPSS19,.0,calculate the c2and value P of each group. Results:the total number of patients that who has accept the operative treatment in our hospital from June 2004 to June 2014 is 34,the average follow-up time is 4 years.20 of them are men and 14 of them are women, the minimum aged is 17 years and the largest age is 78 years,an average age is 46 years old.Course of the disease is 3 to 14 months, the average course is 7 months. The size of tumor is 5 cm3 ~ 1500cm3,the average size is 550cm3.19 case was occurred in arms ? legs and spealbone,15 case was occurred inaxial skeleton.Organization class ? in 19 cases, organization class ? in 10 cases and organization class ? in 5 cases. The number of accepted the radiotherapy and chemotherapy is 6 and 28 cases treated without radiotherapy and chemotherapy.Tumor size, histologic classification are the influencing factors of postoperative recurrence(P <0.05),age,sex,site,course length, whether to accept radiotherapy and chemotherapy has nothing to do with the recurrence rate(P > 0.05).Conclusion:1.The tumor size and pathology classification can affect chondrosarcoma patients' s postoperative recurrence rate.2.The length of the age, sex, site, duration, and whether to accept radiotherapy and chemotherapy has no statistical significance in postoperative recurrence rate for chondrosarcoma patients.
