Objective:The classic theory of atrial fibrillation is approved extensively, and the relation between atrial fibrillation,s thrombus and systemic inflammation is propoesd in rencent years.Although clinicians use comprehensively CHA2DS2-VASc score for stroke risk stratification in patients with nonrheumatic atrial fibrillation, the association between CHA2DS2-VASc score and plasma markers of inflammation is still unclear. The aim of the experience is that optimize treatment plan about anticoagulation for patients with nonrheumatic atrial fibrillation. Methods:A total of 66 patients with nonrheumatic atrial fibrillation who were up to standards were enrolled and ananlyzed, collecting basic information that included age?sex?smoking situation and so on.According to the CHA2DS2-VASc score, the study patients were grouped into low-?score o?,intermediate-?score 1?,or high-?score 2 to maximum?risk categories. At last, the plasma CRP levels were measured.Result:Using the Statistical Package for Social Sciencess for analysing the plasma CRP levels, the result could suggest that the difference of population mean about CRP were significantly different statistically among 3 groups?P<0.05?,and multiple comparisons about sample mean were significantly different statistically?P<0.05?.The relation of CRP and CHA2DS2-VASc score risk categories showed that patients in the high-risk group hadsignificantly higher CRP levels than those in the intermediate-and low-risk group. And the scatter plot displayed that the association between CHA2DS2-VASc score and CRP had positive correlation. Conclusions:In the present study, patients in the high-risk group had significantly greater CRP protein levels than those in the intermediate-and low-risk groups. We identified an possitive association between the CHA2DS2-VASc score and CRP levels in patients with nonrheumatic atrial fibrillation. So CRP can supplement CHA2DS2-VASc score, and has partial affection about anticoagulation treatment and prognosis evaluation of patients with nonrheumatic atria.
