| Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of acarbose combined with Jinlida in the treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(qi and yin deficiency and dampness and stasis),and to initially evaluate the safety and effectiveness of acarbose combined with Jinlida in the treatment of newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes mellitus.Methods: Forty-six patients with newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(FBG<8mmol/L,6%<HbA1c<8%)were randomly divided into two groups.23 cases in each group,the treatment group was treated with Acarbose combined with Jin Li and the control group was treated with acarbose only.Two groups were accepted common diabetes diet and exercise education.After 12 weeks of treatment,blood glucose(FPG,2hPG,HbA1c),insulin,C peptide(fasting,postprandial 2h),insulin resistance and islet β cell function index,△I30/△G30/IR,blood lipid(TC,TG,HDL-C,LDL-C)were analysed,meanwhile,BMI,Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)Symptoms scores,liver function(ALT,AST),renal function(CRE,UREA),electrocardiogram,routine urine test and other adverse events were also observed.After the reserch,SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis.Result:1.Change of glucose metabolism:FPG,2hPG,HbA1 c of two groups were obviously decreased after treatment;Comparison within groups,the differences of FPG of treatment group and 2hPG,HbA1 c of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05orP<0.01);Comparison between two groups,FPG,2hP and HbA1 c improvement of treatment group is better than those of control group(P<0.05~0.01).2.Change of insulin secretion and islet cell function:HOMA-IR decreased in both groups,HOMA-β,△I30/△G30/IR increased slightly after treatment.Comparison within groups,the differences of HOMA-IR,(△I30/△G30)/IR were statistical(P <0.05 or P<0.01).Comparison between two groups,treatment group is superior than those of control group in improving HOMA-IR,(△I30/△G30)/IR(P<0.05).3.Changes of blood lipid metabolism: two groups of TC,TG,LDL-C were significantly low,HDL-C mild slightly increased after treatment.Comparison within groups,only the difference of HLD-C of control group was not statistically significant,the rest blood lipid indexs of two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05 or P<0.01);Comparison between the two groups,treatment group is superior than control group in reducing TC and increasing HLDC(P<0.05).4.Changes of BMI: BMI was decreased compared with before treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significantly statistical difference between the two groups(P>0.05).5.Changes of TCM symptoms scores: The scores of TCM symptoms of the two groups were significantly decreased after treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison between the two group,the TCM syndrome score of the treatment group is more obvious than that of control group,difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The comparison of Chinese medical syndrome and comprehensively curative effect: Comparative effectiveness of syndromes: treatment group total effectiveness was77.78%,control group total effective rate was 30.00%.Comprehensive curative effect compareson,treatment group total effectiveness was72.22%,total effective rate was 40%.Comparison of two groups,the treatment group is superior than that of control group(P<0.05).7.Comparison of safety index: Electrocardiogram and routine urine test before and after treatment in two groups were not clinical changes;comparison of hepatorenal function(ALT,AST,CRE,UREA)between groups and in groups were no statistical differences(P > 0.05).Conclusion: Acarbose combined with Jinlida to treat newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes(qi and yin deficiency and dampness and stasis)is safe and effective.Compared with control group,it can better adjust blood lipid and blood sugar,improve the early secretion of insulin secretion,islet resistance,and it also can improve clinical symptoms for newly diagnosed type 2 diabetes.Clinic application has not caused any side effect and it is worthy popularizing. |
