Objective The self-management status of outpatient gout was investigated by means of questionnaires;and to further explore the influence factors of gout patients' self-management behavior,providing certain scientific basis to improve the gout patients nursing work.Methods Convenient sampling was used to extract a total number of 200 gout patients in outpatient department from one hospital in Qingdao,using the questionnaire survey.Tools include questionnaire(including demographic data and disease related information),self-management questionnaire,social support questionnaire,and Kessler Psychological Distress Scale,designed the demographic data,associated with disease status questionnaire and the self-management questionnaire,measured the reliability and validity.The t test,analysis of variance,Pearson correlation analysis and stepwise internal consistency to describe effect factors of gout patients' self-management,using statistical software SPSS17.0 for statistical analysis.Results1.The level of the self-management of gout patients was at moderate level,the scores were 98.72±15.94 for the total of the self-management.2.The social support scale scores were 40.11±6.83,the scores of social support were significantly lower than the domestic norm,and 76.24% of the patients' social support level in the medium and the following.3.The average total scores of K10 were 17.09±4.44,in these 181 patients with gout,54.1% of the patients mental health level in the general and the level below.4.Single factor analysis showed that:The general data of the different populations and the related status of the disease were statistically significant in the level of self-management.The self-management level of the gout was positively correlated with the social support status and the mental health status,that is,the higher the social support status,the higher the self-The better the health,the higher the self-management score.5.Multiple stepwise regression analysis showed that: the influence factors of self-management total scores included age,gender,uric acid,gout course and,incidence of the past year;diet management dimension influence factors included age,health forms,gout course and,incidence of the past year;sport management dimension influence factors included age,working status,cultural level,and number of complications;smoking drinking management dimension influence factors included gender,age,marital status,and uric acid;information management dimension influence factors included age,profession,health forms,monthly income per,K10 score;medical follow-up management dimension influenced factors including age,uric acid,gout onset age,and gout course.Conclusion1.The current condition of self-management in gout patients was not ideal,and different self-management activities had different levels,information management was the best,while sport management was the worst.2.Patients' age,gender,uric acid,gout course and,incidence of the past year were the main influential factors.3.Patients' age affected diet,sport,smoking and drinking,information and medical following-up management;patients' gender affected smoking and drinking management;patients' uric acid affected smoking and drinking,medical following-up management;patients' gout course affected diet and medical following-up management;patients' incidence of the past year affected diet management.4.The current condition of self-management in gout patients was not ideal;patients' gender,age,uric acid,gout course and incidence of the past year were the main influential factors.Therefore,we should give different patients individualized intervention according to the specific conditions,to improve the gout patients self-management level,improve the patients quality of life.
