Clinical Comparison Study On Curative Efficacy Between Laparoscopic And Open CME Surgery For Colon Cancer

Objective:Comparison of the effect by operating laparoscopic and open CME surgery for colon cancer.Methods:we use the method of retrospective analysis analyse the patients(47cases)diagnosed as colon cancerby the Department of gastrointestinal surgery,Affiliated Hospital of Qinghai Universityfrom March 2015 to May 2016 and divide them in two groups:the laparoscopic CME operation group(27 cases)andthe open CME operation group(20 cases).We compare two groups with the time of operation,blood loss,number of cleaned lymph nodes,the size of resected tumor,distal margin,proximal margin,time of getting-off-bed,exsufflation time,time of starting liquid diet,postoperative hospital stay,the postoperative complications,and total cost.Results:No difference has been show between thetwo groups of patients in age,sex,body mass idex(BMI),tumor location,and preoperative tumor staging.The following index was statistically difference: the blood loss(79.3±8.3ml,123.9±10.1ml,P < 0.05),time of getting-off-bed(21.7±6.6h,25.8±6.5h,P<0.05),exsufflation time(270.7±6.8h,80.2±6.1h,P<0.05),postoperative hospital stay(10.9±3.9d,14.5±3.3d,P<0.05).The operation time(176.9±16.8min,167.1±16.6min,P>0.05),number of cleaned lymph node(18.5±4.5,19.9±4.1,P > 0.05),tumor size(5.8±1.2cm,5.1±1.5cm,p >0.05),proximal margin(14.7±3.5cm,13.5 ± 5.2cm,p > 0.05),distal margin(17.5±8.0cm,20.7±8.6cm,p>0.05),the rate of postoperative complications(7.4%,20%,P>0.05),Clavien-Dindo grade?and?(7.4%vs20%,p>0.05),total cost(6.3±1.1 wanyuan,6.2±1.6wanyuan,P>0.05)have no statistical difference.Conclusion:Laparoscopic CME surgery has the advantages of lless blood loss,faster recovery whilethe safety of surgery andthe radical cure for tumor can achieve the same effect as open CME surgery.
