Objective: Meta-analysis was conducted on domestic and overseas papers published upon strict selection to estimate the HLA-DQ genes variants(rs2856718and rs7453920)association with chronic hepatitis B(CHB).Thus to put forward the scientific reference for hepatitis b prevention and control work. Methods: Using the computer retrieva database including China journal full-text database(CNKI),Chinese biomedical literature database(CBM),Pub Med databases and so on.With 10 Chinese and 11 English papers sought by key word “rs2856718”;With 10 Chinese and 12 English papers sought by key word “rs7453920”.After careful reading, there are altogether 8 papers were included in the meta-analysis.One paper includes four stages of research data and another paper includes three stages. Finally, five articles containing eight subgroup data used for Meta analysis about rs2856718 gene locus;six articles containing eleven subgroup data used for Meta analysis about rs7453920 gene locus. From every study, the following information was abstracted: the first author, year of publication, the research design type, race and country, definition and numbers of case group and control group. In this article,meta-analysis was performed on alleles,co-dominant,dominant and recessive genotype models of rs2856718 and rs7453920 gene locus. The pooled odd ratio(OR)with 95% confidence interval(CI)was calculated to evaluate the association of two locus with HBV infection. At first,Chi-square test was conducted to analyze the results of heterogeneity test. Then, depending on heterogeneity result,fixed-effects model or random-effects model will be performed to calculate pooled OR with 95%CI.In the end, funnel plot was used for assessment of publication bias. All data analysis with Review Manager software version 5.3.Results:1 HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 relevance with HBV infectionHLA-DQB1 rs2856718 G allele served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.67,95% CI(0.58,0.77),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 G allele are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 A allele of the individual 0.67 times. In co-dominan genotype model(AGvs AA),HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AG served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.51,95% CI(0.35,0.75),P =0.0005],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AG are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AA of the individual 0.51 times. In co-dominan genotype model(GGvs AA),HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 GG served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.49,95% CI(0.38,0.63),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 Gg are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AA of the individual 0.49 times. In dominant genotype model(GG+ AGvs AA),HLA-DQB1 rs2856718GG+AG served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.54,95% CI(0.40,0.71),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718GG+AG are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AA of the individual 0.54 times. In recessive genotype model(GGvs AA+AG),HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 GG served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.69,95% CI(0.53,0.91),P=0.008],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB1rs285 6718 GG are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 AA+AG of the individual 0.69 times.2 HLA-DQB1 rs7453920 relevance with HBV infectionHLA-DQB2 rs7453920 A allele served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.60,95% CI(0.56,0.65),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 A allele are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 G allele of the individual 0.60 times. In co-dominan genotype model(AGvs GG),HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AG served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=053,95% CI(0.49,0.58),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AG are Results: lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 GG of the individual 0.53 times. In co-dominan genotype model(AAvs GG),HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AA served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.42,95% CI(0.25,0.69),P=0.0006],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AA are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 GG of the individual 0.42 times. In dominant genotype model(GA+AAvs GG),HLA-DQB2 rs7453920GA+AA served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.53,95% CI(0.49,0.58),P<0.0001],representing individuals carrying DQB2 rs7453920GA+AA are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 GG of the individual 0.53 times. In recessive genotype model(AAvs GA+GG),HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AA served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection[OR=0.46,95% CI(0.25,0.83),P=0.009],representing individuals carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 AA are lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 GA +GG of the individual 0.46 times.Conclusion:1 HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 G allele served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection, carry HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 G allele individual lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB1 rs2856718 A allele of the individual 0.67 times.2 HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 A allele served as a beneficial factor against HBV infection, carry HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 A allele individual lower risk of infection HBV,for carrying HLA-DQB2 rs7453920 G allele of the individual 0.60 times.
