Clinical Observation Of “Yu Decoction” In Wuwei Medical Bamboo Slips From Han Dynasty For Phlegm And Blood Stasis Obstruction Type Of Heumatoid Arthritis

Purpose:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of “ Yu Decoction ” in Wuwei medical bamboo slips from Han Dynasty for phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis.Methods:To select the patients in the outpatient department of Gansu Provincial Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine,60 patients with phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis were divided into the treatment group and control group by using simple random grouping method,30 cases in each group.The control group patients received basic treatment: Methotrexate Tablets 4 tablets per week,Leflunomide Tablets 2 tablets once daily,Folic Acid Tablets 1 tablets each week;the treatment group patients were treated with "blood stasis",each treatment period was 8 weeks.To observe the efficacy index and safety of phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis patients,before and after treatment with “ Yu Decoction”in Wuwei medical bamboo slips from Han Dynasty.Results:(1)The disease curative effect:the treatment group 6 cases,15 cases improved,6 cases were effective,the total efficiency of 90%;the control group was 2 cases,9 cases improved,11 cases were effective,the total efficiency of 73.33%.by statistical analysis,there are significant differences between the two groups,the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).(2)In the aspect of TCM syndrome curative effect:the treatment group total efficiency of86.67%;control group,the total efficiency of 66.67%.by statistical analysis,there are significant differences between the two groups,the treatment group than the control group(P<0.05).The treatment group of patients with joint pain,joint swelling,pain at night,morning stiffness syndrome curative effect is outstanding,significantly better than the control group(P<0.05).(3)Can improve the treatment methods of two groups of patients with VAS-1,VAS-2,DAS28-3 score(P<0.05).The treatment group of VAS-1,VAS-2 was better than the control group(P<0.05),but the DAS28-3 score,Sharp score improved compared with the control group had no significant difference(P>0.05).(4)Can improve the treatment methods of two groups of patients with RF,ESR,CRP and CCP etc.the laboratory index(P<0.05).The treatment group of CRP,ESR was better than thecontrol group(P<0.05),but the RF and CCP improvement compared with the control group had no significant difference(P>0.05).(5)The adverse reactions of the treatment group was lower than the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion: “Yu decoction” in Wuwei medical bamboo slips from Han Dynasty is safer,which can obviously improve joint pain,swelling syndrome,decrease ESR,CRP in phlegm and blood stasis type of rheumatoid arthritis.
