Research On The Satisfaction Of The Elderly Living In The Pension Institution Combined Medical Treatment

With the deepening of the aging population,the problems of aging,empty nesting and disability are becoming more and more obvious.Coupled with the weakening of the traditional family care ability,the institutional pension mode ushered in the development opportunity.But the vast majority of our pension agencies can only provide the elderly with simple daily care and entertainment activities.In the face of the growing demand of the elderly for medical services,these pension agencies seem a bit stretched.In order to make up for the lack of traditional pension institutions,the concept of pension institution combined with medical treatment came into being.At present,China's pension institutions combined with medical treatment are in the initial stage of exploration,and have achieved certain results,but also face some problems such as management mechanism is not perfect,the service boundary is not clear and so on.This study defines the concepts of combination of medical care and elderly care,elderly,satisfaction and so on,and elaborates Maslow's theory of demand and customer satisfaction theory.The elderly satisfaction questionnaire was established combined with expert consultation and panel discussion.To promote the development of pension institutions combined with medical treatment in China,and to provide scientific decision-making basis and reference information for the relevant departments,in the period from May to June in 2016,the research group investigated the present situation of the satisfaction of the elderly who living in the pension institutions combined with medical treatment in Zhenjiang City,Jiangsu Province.The descriptive statistical methods were used to analyze the basic situation and satisfaction of the elderly.The factors influencing the satisfaction of the elderly were analyzed by Ordinal Regression.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)The proportion of the elderly feeling“very satisfaction”and “satisfaction” with overall satisfaction is 70.8%.The proportion of the elderly feeling "very satisfaction" and "satisfaction" of the six dimensions from high to low is: the overall environment(90.8%),daily care(71.5%),medical rehabilitation(65.4%),service quality(64.6%),fee level(54.6%)and mental comfort(30.0%).(2)Age,marital status,income,and hospital interpersonal relationship have a significant effect on the satisfaction of the elderly in pension institutions combined with medical treatment.According to the results of this study,combined with foreign developed countries long-term care development experience,this study proposed the following suggestions:(1)to explore the medical treatment service,(2)to cultivate the nursing professional team,(3)to enrich the entertainment content of the elderly,(4)to increase publicity of pension institutions combined with medical treatment,(5)to explore a variety of ways of combination of medical care and elderly care,(6)to establish a long-term care insurance system.
