Background The rapid development of laparoscopic surgery in general surgery,re duce the surgical trauma successfully, but the multiple abdominal incision of traditi onal laparoscopic surgery still can't satisfy people pursuitting the perfection,so no scar surgery came to the world. No scar surgery at present mainly include natura l orifice translumenal endoscopic surgery(NOTES)and Laparoendoscopic single-site surgery(LESS).Because of relatively high complication and expensive equipm ent,NOTES developed slowly.LESS can maximumly hide scar relies into the um bilicus which seems to be the natural scar of the human body, and it is adaptabl e and develops rapidly. The laparoscopic appendectomy as a relatively simple and h igh penetration rate of minimally invasive surgery, the single incision of it has mo re practical significance. The single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy rapidly devel oped at all levels hospital in our country in recent years. Objective The study was to compare single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy an d conventional laparoscopic appendectomy with respect to clinical outcomesclinical data, analyzes the safety and feasibility of the single-incision laparoscopic appende ctomy in future development. Methods By using prospective study,70 cases who met the inclusion criteria Durin g the period from August 2015 to August 2016 patients with acute appendicitis ad mitted and underwent laparoscopic appendectomy, were randomly divided into single-incision group and conventional laparoscopic group, each group had 35 cases.3 cas es of single-incision group gave up the surgery.Eventually 32 cases of single-incisi on group and 35 cases of conventional laparoscopic group were included in the s tudy. The single-incision group underwent single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy. The conventional laparoscopic group underwent conventional laparoscopic append ectomy.Through statistical analysis, compare operation time, intraoperative blood los s,postoperative wound pain score, postoperative analgesics, postoperative intestinal fu nction recovery time, postoperative hospital stay, postoperative abdominal cosmetic sa tisfaction score for each group. Results The wound pain score of single single-incision laparoscopic is lower than c onventional laparoscopic group(1.63±1.29 points vs 3.26±1.85 points,P<0.01),the use of postoperative analgesic is less than the conventional laparoscopic grou p(9.38% VS 31.43%,P < 0.05),the abdominal cosmetic satisfaction evaluation sco re is higher than conventional laparoscopic group(P < 0.01),but the operation time is longer than conventional laparoscopic group(72.31 + /-7.01 min vs.40.97 + /-8.02 min,P < 0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in terms of intraoperative blood loss, postoperative intestinal function recovery time, and post operative hospital stay(P>0.05).Conclusion The single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy is safe and feasible, its clinical outcome is as the same as the conventional laparoscopic surgery, and post operative pain of the single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy is lighter, and mor e significant effect of beauty, and it was welcomed by patients. With the operation technology become mature, the single-incision laparoscopic appendectomy is expec ted to further promote in clinic.
