ObjectiveTo investigate the changes of serum 25-(OH)-D in children with bronchial asthma before and after treatment with vitamin D,and to observe the changes of 25-(OH)D in asthmatic children,to explore the relationship between vitamin D and children with bronchial asthma,seek new therapeutic targets and clinical methods to prevent and treat pediatric bronchial asthma.MethodsNinety-eighty children with bronchial asthma are enrolled in pediatric patients at the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University from September 2015 to September 2016 and are divided into two groups randomly: experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and observation group(Non-vitamin D treatment group).Two groups of children(after acute symptoms are controled)are given control of symptoms and standardized treatment,The experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)children in addition to conventional treatment,give vitamin D(800iu/day)treatment for 3 months.At the same time,the control group randomly selects 50 healthy children.The experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and observation group(non-vitamin D treatment group)detect Serum levels of 25-(OH)D before and after treatment,the control group(healthy children)detects serum levels of 25-(OH)D with the same method.The control status are observed in the experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and the observation group(non vitamin D.treatment group).Results1.The levels of serum 25-(OH)D in children with bronchial asthma are lower than that in normal healthy children,and the difference are statistically significant between the two groups(P <0.05).2.The levels of serum 25-(OH)D are no significant difference between experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and observation group(non-vitamin D treatment group)before treatment(P> 0.05).After treatment,the levels of 25-(OH)D in the experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and the observation group(non-vitamin D treatment group)are higher than before,but The experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)increases significantly than the observation group(non-vitamin D treatment group),The difference between the two groups are statistically significant(P <0.05).3.The levels of serum 25-(OH)D in the experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)and the observation group(non-vitamin D treatment group)are higher than those before treatment,and the experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)increases significantly.But compared with the control group(healthy children)there are still difference(P <0.05).4.The experimental group(vitamin D treatment group)in the treatment gives a certain dose of vitamin D,the control rate increases than the observation group.There are significant difference between the two groups(P <0.05).Conclusion1.Vitamin D plays an important role in the occurrence and development of bronchial asthma in children.vitamin D deficiency may be one of the factors of asthma.2.The levels of serum vitamin D in children with Bronchial asthma are significantly lower than healthy children.After treatment with vitamin D in children with asthma,the control rate is increased.3.Vitamin D may plays an active role in the prevention and control of bronchial asthma in children.
