The Curative Effect Observation Of Acupoint Catgut Embedding Combined With Western Medicine In Treatment Of Elderly Essential Hypertension With Phlegm And Blood Stasis Syndrome

Objective: The research aims at observing the the clinical efficacy and safety of the acupoint catgut embedding combined with amlodipine besylate in treatment of elderly essential hypertension with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.And whether it is superior to the simple use of amlodipine besylate.To provide a basis for the treatment of elderly essential hypertension with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome with traditional chinese medicine and western medicine.Methods: This research uses the random control method to divide 66 cases of elderly essential hypertension which meet the inclusion criteria into two groups.Each group has 33 cases.The control group takes amlodipine besylate,5mg qd.On the basis of the control group,the treatment group combines with acupoint catgut embedding therapy one time a week.Two groups are treated for 28 days.Observe the changes of blood pressure,blood lipid,TCM syndrome and the safety after treatment.And use the statistical software to compare the two groups of data.Results:(1)The two groups can significantly improve the patient's blood pressure level(P<0.01),the total effective rate of the treatment group is 93.3%,which is significantly higher than that of the control group 70.0%(P<0.01).After treatment,the systolic blood pressure of the treatment group is significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).(2)The treatment group can significantly reduced the total cholesterol,triglyceride,low density lipoprotein and atherosclerosis index(P<0.01),and does not reduce high density lipoprotein(P>0.05).There is no significant difference in the blood lipid level before and after treatment in the control group(P>0.05).(3)Two groups can improve significantly TCM syndrome(P<0.01),the total effective rate of the treatment group is 96.7%,which is significantly higher than that of the control group 66.7%(P<0.01).After treatment,the integrals of dizziness,wrapped head,vomiting phlegm,chest tightness and tingling with fixed points of the treatment group are lower than that of the control group(P<0.05).There is no significant difference in the headache between the two groups after treatment(P > 0.05).There is no significant difference in the vein blood stasis and ecchymosis before and after treatment in the both groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the improvement of tongue and pulse in the treatment group is significantly higher than that in the control group.Conclusion: The curative effect of acupoint catgut embedding combined with amlodipine besylate in treatment of elderly essential hypertension with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome is obviously superior to the single use of amlodipine besylate.Acupoint catgut embedding therapy on lower systolic blood pressure is more obvious,has a positive moderating effect on blood lipid.The therapy is safe and reliable,and it is suitable for the treatment of elderly essential hypertension with phlegm and blood stasis syndrome.
