Effect Of Moxibustion Therapy Combined With Auricular Point Sticking On Patients With Essential Hypertension With Mutual Knot Of Phlegm And Blood Stasis

Objectives:To observe the effect of moxibustion therapy combined with auricular acupoint pressing on patients with primary hypertension with phlegm and blood stasis.Methods:In this study,96 inpatients with phlegm and blood stasis interlocking type essential hypertension in a Department of Neurology,Changsha City were selected as the research object.The patients were divided into 3 groups by lottery,moxibustion group,ear point group,combined Group,32 cases in each group.On the basis of treatment and routine care,the moxibustion group was given moxibustion therapy,the auricular group was given auricular acupressure therapy,and the combined group was given moxibustion therapy combined with auricular acupuncture therapy.After 2 weeks of continuous intervention,the blood pressure,Changes in blood lipids,TCM syndrome scores,and Du's hypertension quality of life scale.Data were entered and sorted using Excel software,and data statistics and analysis were performed using SPSS22.0 software.Measurement data were expressed as mean plus or minus standard deviation.Comparisons between normal distribution data groups were performed using single factor analysis of variance.Comparisons were made using the Kruskal-Wallis test in a non-parametric test.Comparisons within and after the test were performed using paired sample t-tests for normal distribution data;Wilcoxon sign rank test for non-parametric tests was used for all non-parametric tests.All tests were statistically significant with P<0.05.Results:(1)Baseline data: Before intervention,there were no statistically significant differences among the three groups in terms of age,course of hypertension,body mass index,gender,education,marriage,residence and other general information(P>0.05).Before intervention,SBP,DBP,pulse pressure,blood lipid level,TCM syndrome score and duchenberg hypertension quality of life scale were compared among thethree groups,with no statistically significant differences(P> 0.05).(2)Blood pressure: After intervention,the levels of SBP and DBP in the three groups decreased compared with those before the intervention(P<0.01);the difference between the three groups in SBP and DBP was statistically significant(P<0.05);after intervention,the total effective rate of blood pressure reduction in the combined group was significantly better than that in the auricular point group and the moxibustion group(93.1%>85.7%> 78.6%),and there was statistical significance between the three groups(P<0.05).(3)TCM syndrome scores: After intervention,the three groups of patients showed a significant downward trend compared to before intervention in terms of vertigo,headache,head wrap,weight and sleepiness(P<0.05);There were statistically significant differences between the groups in headache,head wrap,chest tightness,vomit,saliva,weight,drowsiness,eat less,insomnia and total score(P<0.05);after intervention,the total effective rate of TCM syndrome improvement in the combined group was significantly better than the moxibustion group and the ear point group(96.5%> 82.1%> 71.4%),and the difference between the three groups was statistically significant(P <0.05).(4)Blood lipid levels: After intervention,there were no significant differences in serum TC TG levels among the three groups(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in serum HDL-C LDL-C level among the three groups(P>0.05).(5)The quality of life questionnaire for Du hypertension hypertension:After intervention,the total score of the Duchen's hypertension quality of life scale of the three groups was statistically significant compared with that before the intervention(P <0.01),and the total score of the combined group was significantly higher than that of the moxibustion group and the ear acupoint group(P <0.01);The three groups were compared among the six dimensions of physiological symptoms,somatization symptoms,sleep status,anger and vitality,interpersonal sensitivity,and hostility.The differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusion:(1)Moxibustion combined with auricular point sticking has a significant effect on reducing the blood pressure level of patientswith primary hypertension of Phlegm Blood stasis type,which is superior to single moxibustion and auricular point sticking.(2)Moxibustion therapy combined with auricular acupoint pressing is superior to single moxibustion therapy and single ear point pressing method in improving TCM syndromes and quality of life of patients with phlegm and blood stasis interlinked primary hypertension.
