Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Luteal Phase Defect Infertility Of Deficiency Of Kidney-yang And Blood Stagnation Type By Busheng Tiaochong Decoction

Objective:To observe the clinical curative effect of Busheng Tiaochong decoction on Luteal Phase Defect Infertility of deficiency of kidney-yang and blood stagnation type,to discuss its possible mechanism of action,and to explore the reliable clinical basis for TCM therapy to treat this disease.Methods:60 cases of patient who met the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 groups,among which,30 cases in therapy group were treated with a combination of Busheng Tiaochong decoction and progesterone capsule,30 cases in control group were treated with progesterone capsule alone,the change in TCM syndrome,basic body temperature(BBT),middle luteal phase estradiol in serum(E2),progesterone level(P),middle luteal phase endometrial thickness,sub-endometrial blood flow parameters and clinical pregnancy rate of both groups before and after the therapy had been observed in one course of treatment(6 months),its curative effect was evaluated in a comprehensive manner through grading and statistical treatment.Results:In terms of pregnancy rate,the therapy group was clearly higher than the control group,the difference between both was statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of TCM syndrome score and post-therapy curative effect,the therapy group was clearly improved better than control group was,the difference between both was statistically significant(P<0.01).the improvement of syndrome of deficiency of kidney-yang and blood stagnation of therapy group was clearly better than that of control group.In terms of endometrial thickness,the difference between both groups was found to be statistically significant through the post-therapy intragroup and intergroup comparison(P<0.05).Interms of BBT,the difference between the percentage of post-therapy BBT I~? type and the one of pre-therapy BBT I~? type of therapy group was statistically significant(P<0.05),the difference between the counterparts of control group was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).The difference in HPS between both groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between pre-therapy P value and post-therapy one of both groups was found to be statistically significant(P<0.05)through the comparison of middle luteal phase E2 and P value,the difference in post-therapy P value between the therapy group and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).The differences between post-therapy pulse index(PI),resistance index(RI)and pre-therapy counterparts of both groups were all found to be statistically significant(P<0.05)through the comparison of endometrial blood flow parameters;the difference in post-therapy PI and RI between therapy group and control group was statistically significant(P<0.05).It was found by the analysis on the correlation between age and pregnancy rate in therapy group that,the patients aged below 35 had a higher pregnancy rate than the ones aged over 35.Conclusion : Busheng Tiaochong decoction can significantly raise the clinical pregnancy rate of the women diseased with Luteal Phase Defect Infertility of deficiency of kidney-yang and blood stagnation type,its mechanism of action may be associated with the fact that it raised progestational hormone level,improved the endometrial thickness and sub-endometrial blood perfusion and promoted a sound function of corpus luteum,as a result,the pregnancy rate was improved.
