Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Primary Dysmenorrhea (Stagnation Of Qi And Blood Stasis Type) By Massage With Tongjing Paste

Objective: Compared massage with tongjing paste with Gexia Zhuyu decocting taking orally cure qi stagnation and blood stasis type of primary dysmenorrhea.To explore the superiority of two treatment methods,in order to provide new ideas for clinical diagnosis and treatment.Methods:This subject research selected 60 cases suffering from primary dysmenorrhea(qi stagnation and blood stasis type)which were randomly divided into treating group(30 cases)and controlling group(30 cases).The treating group using massage with tongjing paste started treatment each course in a week before menstruation,1 time a day,about 20 mins each time until the end of menstruation,and continued treatment three months was one course of treatment.The controlling group took Gexia Zhuyu decocting each course in a week before menstruation,one dose providing two servings which had a six hours interval a day,and continued treatment three months was one course of treatment.Recording the first visiting symptoms and the effects accepted treatments each time.Comparing and analysis the treatment effect of two groups.Results:After treatment,the symptom integral of each groups were comparatively analyzed between before treatment and after treatment and draw the conclusion that:Both massage with tongjing paste and Gexia Zhuyu decocting taking orallyare were obviously effective,but the former had better effect,and with lower ratio of side effects.The treatment group had 30 patients which 4 cases were cured,15 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,ineffective of 2 cases.The total effective rate was 93.33%.The controlling group had 30 patients which 3 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective,ineffective of 3 cases.The total effective rate was 80.00%.Conclusion:Massage with tongjing paste and Gexia Zhuyu decocting taking orally cure qi stagnation and blood stasis type of primary dysmenorrhea both have definite effect.However,the osmosis of drugs in the Tongjing paste closely combined with the effect of massage manipulation.The combined effect is more obvious,have little toxic side effects,and this method is easy to be accepted by patients.So it is worth popularizing widely.
