Objective: The article is to observe the clinical effect of the immediate pain relief ofChiropractic Therapy to the patients of congestive primary dysmenorrheal, and further, discuss its mechanism.Methods:60patients were randomly divided into two groups, with30patients ineach. In the first group,27patients received Chiropractic Therapy, and3dropped out. Inthe controlled group,28patients have ibuprofen tablets, and2dropped out. The changes ofVisual Analogue Scale with time in both groups are observed and the difference betweenthe two groups is compared. Results: the VAS numerical reading after Chiropractic therapy was of prominentsignificance (P <0.05) comparing to not having it, where as the reading of peroralIbuprofen tablets was not of statistical significance(P>0.05). The two contrast groupsstarted to work distinctively from each other. After20min, Chiropractic therapy had moresignificant effect and the effect of relieving pain was durable after30min. The peroralIbuprofen tablets’ effects were even more significant after30min.Conclusions: Chiropractic therapy and peroral Ibuprofen tablets both have positiveeffects on relieving pain, and have their own advantages; however, chiropractic therapy hasmore significant accumulated effect comparing to peroral Ibuprofen tablets.
