The Influences Of Rosuvastatin And Simvastatin On Pancreatic ?-cell Function And Adiponectin Of Elderly People

Objective Make sure the influences of rosuvastatin and simvastatin on Pancreatic ?-cell function and Adiponectin of elderly people;Explore and discuss the possible related factors.Method From March to September,2014,179 elderly people over 65 lived in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Hunan Normal University.They all corresponded to the condition of using statins medicine.According to the table of random number,179 elderly people were divided into two groups: 91 in rosuvastatin(group A)and 88 in simvastatin(group B).Both groups were given normal low fat diet.Besides,group A was given rosuvastatin(10mg,PO,QN)and group B was given simvastatin(20mg,PO,QN).If they have other high blood pressure and coronary diseases,they will be normally treated.Periodically follow up and test the level of Total cholesterol,Triglycerides,Low density lipoprotein-cholesterol,High density lipoprotein-cholesterol,Fasting plasma glucose,Fasting Serum Insulin,Alanine transaminase,Aspartate transaminase,Creatinine,Blood Urea nitrogen,Adiponectin before taking the agent and after taking the agent for 4 week and 24 week.All the test indexes will be examined by the professional experts in our College.Results(1)Compared A with B before taking the agent,there are no statistical significance(P>0.05)in the basic information includingage,gender,height,weight,and systolic pressure,FPG,TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,FSI,ALT,AST,CREA,BUN.These two groups have comparability.(2)Compared taking the agent after 24 weeks with before,TC,TG,LDL-C sharply decreased(P<0.01),HDL-C,AST increased(P<0.01),there are statistical significances.(3)After taking the agent for 24 weeks,FPG,FSI,HOMA-IR increased(P<0.01),HOMA-IS decreased(P<0.01),there are statistical significances.(4)After taking the agent for 4 weeks and 24 weeks,the APN of elderly people sharply decreased compared to standard level(P<0.01).(5)Compared A with B after taking statins for 4 weeks and 24 weeks,the FSI,HOMA-IS,HOMA-IR have no clear differences(P>0.05).(6)Compared A with B after taking the agent for 4 weeks and 24 weeks,compared all of the 3 databases with each other,there is no clear difference in APN.Conclusion(1)The level of Homeostatic Model Assessment-Insulin Resistance will be increased in Eeder patients who take rosuvastatin and simvastatin medicine,but the Homeostatic Model Assessment-Insulin Sensitivity will be decreased.(2)The level of adiponectin will be decreased in elderly patients who take rosuvastatin and simvastatin medicine.
