[Objective]This research is aimed to study the clinical effect of Yiqihuoxue me thod,and observe yiqihuoxue method to improve the postoperative anemia,TCM syndrome,pain,limb swelling,joint function after total knee arthroplasty,and pr ove the roles of TCM in promoting the recovery of patients,and provide the ev idences that yiqihuoxue method have a good effect in early clinical effect after total knee arthroplasty.[Method]Total 60 patients who need the unilateral total knee arthroplasty becau se of knee osteoarthritis,were randomly divided into trial group and control gro up,30 cases in each group.This two groups patients were performed by the sam e doctor,and give the same basic treatment such as anticoagulation,prevention o f infection,prevention of thrombosis,to guide function exercise before surgery.Th e control group were given the basic therapies above-mentioned.But the treatme nt group were given yiqiyangxue herbs(bid,7days)on the basis of above-mention ed foundation treatment.Finally,we summarize the data cover age,gender,height,w eight,hemoglobin(Hb),red blood cell count(RBC),hematokrit(HCT),VAS score,bod y size,HSS score to compare the baseline before surgery,and recording Hb,RBC,HCT,TCM symptoms hierarchical quantitative score,VAS score,body size to com pare the difference of two groups in day 1,3,7,14,and analyzing the HSS score in day 3,7,14 after TKA,and making the statistical tests using the SPSS 23.0 software.[Result]1.Hb:The Hb level present a tendency of decrease both the treatment a nd control group,but there is no statistical difference in postoperativeday 1(P>0.05).The Hb level continue to reduce in postoperative day3,and achieve the low est numerical,but still no statistical difference between two treatment and contro 1 group(P>0.05).In postoperative 7 day,patient's level of Hb began to rise.The tr eatment group level is higher than the control group.There is a significant stati stical difference between two groups(P<0.01).The Hb gradually return to normal level in postoperative 14 day.The difference between two groups is reduced,an d shows no statistical significant(P>0.05).2.RBC:The RBC level present a tendency of decrease both the treatment and c ontrol group,but there is no statistical difference in postoperativeday 1(P>0.05).The RBC level continue to reduce in postoperative day 3,but still no statistical difference between two treatment and control group(P>0.05).In postoperative 7 day,patient's level of RBC began to rise-The treatment group level is higher t han the control group.There is a significant statistical difference between two g roups(P<0.05).The RBC gradually return to normal level in postoperative 14 da y.The difference between two groups is reduced,and shows no statistical signific ant(P>0.05).3.HCT:The HCT level present a tendency of decrease both the treatment and c ontrol group,but there is no statistical difference in postoperativeday 1(P>0.05).The HCT level continue to reduce in postoperative day 3,and there is a statisti cal difference between two treatment and control group(P<0.05).In postoperative 7 day,patient's level of HCT began to rise.There is a significant statistical diff erence between two groups(P<0.05).The HCT gradually return to normal level i n postoperative 14 day.The difference between two groups show no statistical s ignificant(P>0.05).4.TCM symptoms hierarchical quantitative score:The TCM score has no statistic al difference between the two groups in postoperativeday 1(P>0.05).The TCM s core continue to reduce in postoperative day 3,but still no statistical difference between two treatment and control group(P>0.05).In postoperative 7 day,The tre atment group level is decreased more quickly than the control group.There is a significant statistical difference between two groups(P<0.01).The difference bet ween two groups is reduced in postoperative 14 day,and still shows a statistical significant(P<0.01).5.VAS score:The VAS score present a statistical difference between the two gro ups in postoperativeday 1(P<0.05).The VAS score has no statistical difference b etween two treatment and control group in postoperative day 3(P>0.05).In posto perative 7 day,patient's level of VAS score shows a significant statistical differ ence between two groups(P<0.01).The VAS score were significantly reduced in postoperative 14 day,and shows a statistical difference(P<0.05).6.Body size:The body size level present no statistical difference between the tw o groups in postoperative day 1(P>0.05).The body size level began to rise in p ostoperative day 3,but still no statistical difference between two treatment and control group(P>0.05).In postoperative 7 day,The treatment group level of body size is lower than the control group.There is a statistical difference between t wo groups(P<0.05).The difference between two groups shows no statistical signi ficant in postoperative 14 day(P>0.05).7.The HSS score:The HSS score level present no statistical difference between the two groups in postoperative day 3(P>0.05).In postoperative 7 day,The treat ment group level of HSS score is higher than the control group.There is a stat istical difference between two groups(P<0.01).The difference between two group s shows reduced,and there is a statistical significant in postoperative 14 day(P<0.05).[Conclusion]This study suggests that yiqihuoxue method can improved Hb after TKA,and can improve early state of anemia.In addition,yiqihuoxue method can reduce pain and limb swelling,and improve joint function,to accelerate the rec overy rapidly.
