Unicompartmental knee arthroplasty by means of surface replacement of the diseased compartment, relieve pain, improve the function of the objective. With t he operation of small trauma, less pain, bone loss, the advantage of light, faster p ostoperative recovery, close to the physiological state, easy torepair and other adv antages, is a common operation in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.TKA is a common operation methodreported in the literature. In clinical it has been widely used, is recognized as the gold standard for the treatment of severe knee joint diseases, operation effect is significant, but the disadvantage is trauma, postopera tive recovery time were longer. In recent years, with the improvement of prosthesi s design and operation of instruments, grasp the operation technology and reasona ble, improve the effect of operation, UKA has made great progress. Grasp the in dication of operation, operation effect is satisfactory, improve the patients’ s satisfa ction degree. At the same time, UKA bone, maintain normal anatomical positio n, less postoperative complications, the body feel good, has a good prospect of cli nical application. From 2013 to carry out this operation, the operation is less numb er of cases, 12 cases. Through the research clear the operation on the knee of un icompartmental osteoarthritis of safety with analysis, trauma and clinical curative effect, make the direction for the future treatment of such patients with knee oste oarthritis. Objective Through the analysis of the completed 12 cases of unicompartme ntal knee arthroplastyand the selection of the same age, 12 cases of total knee a rthroplasty lesions similar, two surgical methods of comparative analysis in safety,c linical curative effect of early treatment of unicompartmental osteoarthritis of the knee after surgery the observation of such unicompartmental knee joint lesions i n knee osteoarthritis patients whether or not UKA has more advantages.Method From 2013 April to 2015 January 24 cases of patients,Divided into two groups, including 12 cases of unicompartmental knee arthroplasty patients a s UKA group, total knee arthroplasty in 12 patients as group TKA, group UKA,Analysis and follow-up of three months after operation, On the day of admission and after third days and seventh dayspostoperative blood routine,CRP and ESR were compared between the two groups in hospitalization time, CRP score and ch anges of blood, bleeding volume and hemoglobin compared with the previous va lue changes, pain score, knee function, comparison of HSS score. The SPSS19.0software was used for statistical analysis of the above data, t test was performed on the data of the two groups, the difference is statistically significant. To under stand the UKA for the treatment of unicompartmental osteoarthritis of the kne e can show than TKA faster postoperative recovery and less invasive advantages.Result UKA changed the trajectory of knee joint angle, knee joint is mor e powerful, better activity.Pain feeling can basically achieve painless, excellent a nd good rate up to 100%, gait was close to normal. Walking up to 25-50 met ers and needs the help of the brace. The UKA group of HSS was higher than t hat of TKA group. The UKA group the average duration of hospitalization was5.73 days, TKA group the average duration of hospitalization and the patient hos pitalization cost is lower than that of TKA group. The postoperative recovery ti me is short, the flexibility of the knee high, excellent high rate ofpain relief.UKA varus angle(correction) 6.7+0.67 DEG, UKA advantage lies in varus angle c orrection degree bigger, less bleeding in operation, postoperative cited low flow, hemoglobin is decline low value. In this study, two groups of patients without complications. The disadvantage is operation indications is narrow, varus angle corr ection is better than TKA,Conclusion UKA is an effective way for treatment of unicompartment alost eoarthritis of the knee, it has the advantages of quick recovery, small trauma pati ents. Compared with the TKA for the operation and hospitalization days, less blee ding, less postoperative complications. In the postoperative pain relief compared w ith TKA,UKA after surgery has good curative effect, high patient satisfaction.
