BackgroundDoctor-patient consultation is still currently the main way to solve medical disputes,medical personnel as the leading role of doctor-patient consultation,the parties to participate in the will of the medical dispute negotiation skills and its master doctor-patient consultation,influence the early resolve disputes,good doctor-patient relationship repair and service improvement.At present,the consultation of doctors and patients focuses on improving the capacity of doctors and patients to handle medical disputes,and the establishment of medical dispute treatment mechanism,etc.But the study as a refinement of the medical staff of the parties to disputes still less,combined with the current medical personnel involved in the dispute processing has many problems in practice.Therefore,it is necessary to inquire into the cognition of medical staff of doctor-patient consultation status and willingness to participate in doctor-patient consultation,to formulate measures to improve disposal ability of medical staff to participate in medical disputes.ObjectivesThis study,based on a questionnaire on a Grade three hospital in guangzhou,evaluate the guangzhou Grade three hospital medical staff to the situation of cognition of medical dispute,analysis the influence factors of the doctor-patient consultation will participate in medical disputes,so as to understand consciousness of medical staff involved in the disposal of medical disputes,improve its clear advantage area,and to explore its external support needed to participate in the scene processing conditions,thus make improve the level of medical staff to participate in medical disputes disposal measures,to promote the resolution mechanism to be the limits,characteristics and effective use of the doctor-patient consultation,and promote the construction of harmonious doctor-patient relations.MethodsThis research through the self-made questionnaire about the willingness and influencing factors of participating in doctor-patient consultation of The Medical Staff in Grade three hospital of Guangzhou.Questionnaire includes the following four parts:(1)The base case of the investigation object;(2)Understanding of medical disputes and doctor-patient consultation;(3)Willingness to participate in doctor-patient consultation;(4)Influence factors of medical personnel to participate in the doctor-patient consultation intend.Using SPSS20.0 for statistical analysis,the statistical methods used include:descriptive analysis,t test,variance analysis,Logistic regression analysis,etc.ResultsA total of 495 questionnaires were collected from the survey,and the recovery rate was 98.9%,with an effective questionnaire of 472 and an effective 96.3%.From the perspective of medical staff,the leading cause of medical disputes is that the doctors and patients lack of effective communication,the leading cause of medical disputes with the factor is the high medical expectations of patients;In terms of mediation selection,the consultation of the medical personnel is still the preferred method of medical personnel after the medical dispute occurs.It is shown that when the medical personnel are choosing and participating in the consultation,the initiative and the initiative will be affected by the cause,stage and specific event of the medical dispute.The results of two or more comparisons of the level of will between the various items show that the differences between the items were obvious.In terms of different causes of disputes,the highest level is caused by lack of doctor-patient communication disputes(3.64±1.077),the lowest is the material and moral quality of low lead to disputes(2.82±1.361),both with the intention of other entries level has significant difference statistically.In the different stages of doctor-patient consultation,the highest level is the willingness to give proper interpretation when the patient just begin to feel resentful(4.12±0.905).When there is a risk of violence the willingness is the lowest(2.88±1.420),and there are significant differences between the other items.Doctor-patient consultation matters in the course of the medical staff involved in with the wishes of the highest is timely and complete medical records will(4.37±0.814),the lowest is in lack of cases are still active treatment will(3.65±1.047),and with all the items with statistical differences.Among the factors affecting the willingness of medical staff to participate in the consultation of doctors and patients,the demographic factors are gender and job title.The results of the survey showed when other confounding factors were excluded,the hospital of attitude,encourage or not familiar with related laws and regulations,the importance of hospital,medical liability insurance etc,have a certain influence on the overall participation intention.Conclusions and SuggestionsSocial factors are still the main factors lead to medical disputes,the present social factors mainly include the relevant national laws and regulations is not complete,the medical security system is not sound,social public opinion of misunderstanding or bias,etc.The consultation of the doctor-patient is still the preferred method for resolving medical disputes,and the third party mediation mechanism plays a complementary role as the people’s mediation and the rise and development of medical liability insurance.Guangzhou medical staff to participate on doctor-patient consultation is not high,there are significant statistical differences in the disputes caused by different causes,in different stages of the dispute are also statistically significant,and in the cooperation in the negotiation process.In dealing with the exploration of doctor-patient contradiction,both doctors gave high expectations for consultative negotiations,in reality most of the medical dispute is solved through consultation.But there is much to be desired in the process of implementation,In order to improve the will and skill of the medical staff consultation,the medical consultation should be used as a medical dispute to resolve the role of bridgehead,combined with the results of the survey,we put forward the following Suggestions:to build a good hospital medical dispute mediation mechanism,improve the medical staff human skills,the diversified dispute solution well together,giving full play to the advantages of information technology,adhere to the media the right public opinion direction.
