Objective:Autologous granular fat has been extensively used for facial soft tissue augmentation procedures,and is regarded as safe and reliable and suitable as a permanent implant.The long-term follow-up of the clinical outcome and experience of autologous granular fat transplantation in depressed deformities of the face.The aim of the present study was to assess the effects of autologous fat in congenital or acquired depressed deformities of the face.Methods:Select 18 patients with depressed deformities of the face in the 15th Department of Plastic Surgery Hospital,CAMS PUMC from 2006 January to 2016 November completed to be object of observation.Number of injections according to degree,size and location of defects and the survival rate of transplanted fat.To observe the operation time,postoperative complications,and postoperative rehabilitation exercise and the recent and long-term clinical effect.Result:18 patients were implanted with the material of autologous fat to correct depressed deformities of the face.The etiologies of the depressed deformities included stable hemi-facial atrophy(7 cases),lupus erythematosus panniculitis(5 cases),localized scleroderma(6 cases).Follow-up time was 6 months to 9 years,no severe complications and showed satisfactory results.Conclusion:Autologous granular fat grafting is a safe and effective method for facial depressed deformities,and is worthy of clinical promotion.
