Clinical Study On The Application Of Umbilical Paste Of Chinese Herbal Medicine In Adjuvant Treatment Of Gastrointestinal Reactions Induced By Cisplatin Containing Chemotherapy

Objective:Through 50 patients with paclitaxel + cisplatin regimen chemotherapy for umbilical paste of Chinese herbal medicine treatment,to observe the clinical study on the application of umbilical paste of Chinese herbal medicine in adjuvant treatment of gastrointestinal reactions induced by Cisplatin containing chemotherapy.Evaluation of the relief and control of gastrointestinal adverse reactions.So as to the application of umbilical paste of Chinese herbal medicine in adjuvant treatment of gastrointestinal reactions induced by Cisplatin containing chemotherapy provide further support and reference.Methods:According to the inclusion criteria and exclusiom crteria,collected 50 cases with paclitaxel + cisplatin regimen chemotherapy and hospitalized in Department of oncology,Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in January 2016 to December 2016.The selected cases were randomly divided into observation group and control group,each group of 25 cases.The control group was given only Palonosetron hydrochloride injection and Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection;the observation group was given Palonosetron hydrochloride injection and Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection jointed External application of Chinese herbal medicine umbilical paste.By observing the two groups of patients after treatment of gastrointestinal adverse effects of the classification situation,Comprehensive evaluation of efficacy and safety of the application of umbilical therapy of Chinese herbal medicine in adjuvant treatment of gastrointestinal reactions induced by Cisplatin containing chemotherapy.Results: In the observation group of 25 cases,the incidence of vomiting was 28%,the incidence of abdominal distention was 36%,the incidence of constipation was 36%;In the control group of 25 cases,the incidence of vomiting was 68%,the incidence of abdominal distention was 92%,the incidence of constipation was 80%.Two groups were significant different(P < 0.05),the therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.There was also significant difference in the quantification of TCM symptoms between vomiting,abdominal distention and constipation after treatment(P < 0.05),and the therapeutic effect of the observation group was better than that of the control group.Conclusions:Effect of Chinese herbal medicine topical application of umbilical paste combined with palonosetron hydrochloride injection and Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection on gastrointestinal reaction induced by chemotherapy with Cisplatinregimen,comparison from vomiting,abdominal distention and constipation,combination therapy was significantly better than using only palonosetron hydrochloride injection and Dexamethasone sodium phosphate injection.The application of umbilical paste of Chinese herbal medicine is esay to use in clinical practice with minimal side effects,efficacy and cheap.
