The Effects Of Electroacupunturing Ling Tai And Shen Dao Points On Heart Rate Variability In Patients With Diabetic Cardiac Autonomic Neuropathy

Objective: To observe the effect of electroacupuncture Lingtai and Shendao points on frequency index of heart rate variability(HRV)5min of LF,HF and LF/HF in patients with diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy(DCAN),and compared to conventional acupuncture at Lingtai,Shendao two points.To observe the difference of the two methods of treatment to explore the spirit of Lingtai,Shendao points in the treatment of diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy of the optimal stimulation.Methods: 46 patients with diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy were randomly divided into electroacupuncture group(n=23)and acupuncture group(n=23).The changes of HRV frequency domain index of LF,HF and LF/HF were observed before,between and after the acupressure.The data were analyzed statistically and the differences were observed between the two groups.Results: Group comparison: There was a significant difference in HF between the anterior and postoperative patients.The value of HF is increased.LF,LF/HF were not statistically significant.LF,HF increased after electroacupuncture in patients.There is a very significant difference in LF,HF.LF/HF was not statistically significant.Before and after electroacupuncture,LF,HF increased,LF/HF decreased,there were very significant differences.Acupuncture group:before and between or between and after acupuncture LF,HF were increased,there was a significant difference.LF/HF was not statistically significant.Before and after acupuncture,LF,HF increased,LF/HF decreased.There were very significant differences in the changes of HF,and significant differences in LF and LF/HF.Comparison between groups:There was no statistical significance of LF,HF,LF/HF between two groups before treatment and in the treatment.After the treatment,there wasvery significant differences of HF,LF/HF.no statistical significance of LF between the two groups.However,the increase rate of LF in electroacupunturing group was better than that in acupuncture groupConclusion: electroacupunturing or acupunturing Lingtai and Shendao both can increase LF,HF index and reduce LF/HF index of HRV in patients with DCAN.but electroacupunturing group can better increase the vagal and sympathetic nerve activity,adjust the autonomic nerve balance.
