Research On Strategies Of Chronic Disease Health Management Based On Persuasive Design

Chronic diseases are increasing rapidly,and now become the world's first cause of death.China has now confirmed more than 300 million patients with chronic diseases which have shown a trend of younger that exacerbate shortage status of China's medical resources.However,many chronic patients find it difficult to develop healthy lifestyle in home environment,resulting in repeated hospitalization and premature death after leaving the professional medical environment.Therefore,it is urgent to help patients abstrain from unhealthy behavior and improve health management ability.In the early period of literature research,the author summarizes the causes of chronic disease,theories and cases related to health management,in order to find the reason why health management is hard to implement in china.After that,the author expounds and analyzes the relevant theories of persuasion design in behavior change,then find that persuasion design has great potential in the formation of healthy behavior.In order to explore the factors that influence patients to start and maintain healthy behavior the author does qualitative investigation and quantitative study by user research.After abstracting and sorting the key factors,the author has a key insight: social roles are important to patients' healthy behavior,and persuative design can strart from them.After research on interaction between patients and different stakeholders,the author proposes the theoretical model "PMF ",that is a good interaction between the family,medical and patients can help achieve the persuatsion goal.Based on the theory of phase behavior,the formation of healthy behavior process is divided into four stages,and there are different strategies in different stages to meet the real needs.Those persuasive strategies provide tools and methods for social roles to get involved and change patients' behavior,help them to develop healthy habits and lifestyle.At last,through the project relating to diet management of diabetes,the "PMF " model and persuasive strategies is applied and verified,also it's universality and limitations,and it can provide reference for the product design on health management of chronic disease.
