Objective:The database of health examination center in Shandong provincial hospital were be studied, to investigate the prevalence of some main chronic diseases in citizen employees by analyzing main influencing factors and epidemiologic studies, and it will be helpfully for prevention and treatment for those diseases. Methods:By analyzing the information of medical examination and relevant survey in healthy examination center in Shandong provincial hospital, we try to rank the detection rates of various diseases and make a descriptive analysis to the top ten. Five major chronic diseases be chose as dependent variable respectively. Living habits such as smoking, drinking, sleeping, exercise, and high-fat diet, and metabolic factors (blood glucose, triglycerides Ester), gender, age, body mass index were chose for multiple unconditional logistic regression analysis. Results:The top five chronic diseases among 2005-2009 were:fatty liver, hypertension, gastritis, hyperlipidemia and diabetes.①Age, frequent alcohol consumption, high body mass index, high-fat diets, blood sugar and triglycerides may increase the risk of fatty liver, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:1.035(1.012,1.112),2.584(1.987,2.810),1.421(1.301,2.202,3.882(3.315,4.541),1.231(1.100,1.678),1.209(1.009,1.647); and the risk could be reduced by daily exercise, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:0.451(0.254,0.998),0.727(0.695,0.921);②Frequent alcohol and smoking consumption, high body mass index, and high-fat diets could increase the risk of high blood pressure, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:2.469 (1.871,2.684),1.177 (1.001,1.234),1.094 (1.010,1.684),1.232 (1.110,1.431); and could be reduced by good sleep, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:0.692 (0.524,0.798);③The risk of chronic gastritis could be elevated be drinking and smoking frequently, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:2.075 (1.998,2.351),2.320 (1.587,2.498);④Age, gender, body mass index, smoking, high fat diets, high total cholesterol are risk factors of hyperlipidemia, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were:1.995 (1.758,2.235),1.239 (1.101,1.832),1.060 (0.881,1.241),1.340 (1.214,1.500),2.395 (1.998,2.500),1.128 (1.107,1.311),7.088 (6.851,8.542); the risk could be reduced by daily exercise, the OR values and 95% confidence intervals were: 0.252 (0.118,0.865).⑤Age, frequent alcohol consumption, high body mass index could increases the risk of diabetes, its value and 95% confidence intervals were: 1.053 (0.998,1.254),1.942 (1.500,2.312),1.421 (1.311,1.876); daily exercise and better quality of sleep could reduce the risk of diabetes, its value and 95% confidence intervals were:0.788 (0.654,0.900),0.869 (0.511,0.954).Conclusions and Suggestions:Medical treatment and health care have made great progress by rapid society and economic development, and the burden of chronic diseases have the same tendency. Our study elucidate that the risk of suffering fatty liver, hypertension could be reduced by daily exercise and good quality of sleep, while frequent alcohol and smoking consumption, high-fat diets are important risk factors for high blood pressure, chronic gastritis, diabetes. There's a strong correlation between lifestyle and chronic diseases. So a good lifestyle such as healthy diet, more exercise, less alcohol and smoking, and a good sleep play an important role in preventing chronic disease. ObjectivesTo study methods of evaluation on the health status of individuals and group examines in the Shandong Provincial Hospital Health Examination Center, and to establish a health risk appraisal system for individual and group examines.MethodsThe health status of healthy persons examined in Shandong Provincial Hospital during 2005-2009, as well as physical indicators, lifestyle factors were analyzed as a basis to establish the health risk appraisal system for individual and group examines.ResultsScientific and standardized questionnaire survey in combined with time series analysis can be effectively to forecast the incidence rate and death rate of chronic non-communicable diseases. Timely and quickly forewarning can improve the specific and efficiency of health interference in the health management. The health interference according to the risk of people at different levels can achieve the maximum utilization of resources and the greatest effects on health. Conclusion and AdvicesThe establishment of the health risk appraisal system for individual and group examine, including subjective evaluation and quantitative evaluation, can help health person have scientific understanding of their health status. It will provide reliable information for the monitoring of population health in the community, the evaluation on the efficiency of health care and the decision-making in health, to enhance health management concepts, and to provide reference for the establishment of health risk appraisal system in China.
