Objective:Traumatic brain injury is a common cause of neurological dysfunction.The ability of daily life and the loss of social mobility is the main basis for the evaluation of mental disability after traumatic brain injury.This study preliminarily discussed and refinemented the assessment criteria of daily life or social function in disability assessment criteria,It could provide the basis for the evaluation of mental disability grade in the judicial evaluation,and also provide reference for the establishment of the classification rules for mental disability grade.Methods:?Collected 198 cases of mental disability assessment from Judicial Expertise Center of kunming medical university and the Red Cross hospital of Yunnan provincial from 2014 to 2016,according to clinical diagnosis of traumatic brain injury and the CT scan,combined with neurologic examination and mental examination,qualitatively by the surveyor after craniocerebral trauma caused by the severity of mental disability;?Applied for forensic psychiatric evaluation and Ability of taking care of oneself?Functional Activites Questionnaire?Modified Barthel index?Social disability screening schedule to assess the relationship between the severity of neurological dysfunction in patients with cranial injury and the level of mental disability.Results:?The disabled caused by Traumatic brain injury,it was statistically significant between the severity of mental disability and the severity of the MBI?SDSS?FAQ?ATCO score results,craniocerebral injury recovery(P<0.05).?The results of single factor logistics regression analysis showed there was a significant correlation between scores of MBI?SDSS?FAQ?ATCO and mental disability severity(P<0.05).?The logistics regression analysis was based on the correlation of the severity of mental disability showed SDSS and MBI were risk factor for the severity of mental disability(P<0.05).?Different levels of mental disability,SDSS?FAQ?MBI and ATCO scores were statistically significant,and the SDSS?FAQ?MBI and ATCO scores all had a good distinction between the severity of mental disabilities(P<0.05).?Different mental disability grade scales showed that the SDSS scale is suitable for evaluation of 10th,9th,8th and 7th grades of disability,the FAQ scale is suitable for evaluation of 10th,9th,8th and 7thgrades of disability,the MBI scale is suitable for evaluation of 8th,7th,6th,5th and 4th grades of disability,the ATCO scale is suitable for evaluation of 8th,7th and 6thgrades of disability.Conclusion:?When we assessed mental disability grade,the standardized scales was used for assessing mental disability severity,and then classified,it was more advantageous to distinguish the mental disability grade;?The scale of mental disability that applied to these four standardized assessment scales was not exactly the same,and there was a certain crossover.?In the case of assessing mental disability grade,SDSS scale and FAQ scale can be used to distinguish 10th disability and 9th disability,8th disabilities and 7th disability can be integrated by MBI scale,ATCO scale,SDSS scale and FAQ scale,and more than 6th disability was not suitable for using scales.
