Objective Rhytidectomy of ocular region is the focal point of the upper and middle face. It is the most common cosmetic surgery in plastic surgery. Most young and middle-aged patient needn't rhytidectomy of all face .Every kind of rhytidectomy of face has its concurrent complaint. So it is necessary for us to study the distribution of the nerves and the anatomic plane corresponding to the dissection in rhytidectomy. This study investigates the design of the incision, the anatomic structures of each approach and provide the anatomic basis and an alternative for rhytidectomy.Materials and methods 24 sides of 12 antiseptic adult head specimens and 41 patients who wanted to make their face youthful were studied. The tissue layers of the forehead and the temporal region, and their relationship were investigated. The branch, course, distribution of the facial nerve, the relationship between it and the vicinity tissue were studied, and so did the supraobital nerve, we design and cut off spare skin of upper eyelid and a part of orbicularis muscle , and then transplanted septum orbitale fat flap or orbicularis muscle flap to replaced the defect.
